Stell is very loving to her human. She never really settled down tho. She has a ton of energy! And no toy that she is given as hers is safe! She counts cats as a toy fyi. So i would always supervise her with children. She belonged to my brother who passed away in 2024. My 75 year old mother has been trying to care for her and just is not able to any longer. Stella is 6 years old and is on a no grain or kibble diet. Experience with larger dogs and vet referral a plus!

Meet Trey! 🐾 Trey is the perfectly pocket-sized pittie whose only real flaw is his inability to keep his tongue in his mouth. Don’t let his age fool you—this 9-year-old, 60-lb sweetheart still has plenty of energy and is ready to run straight into your heart. Trey is adventurous and curious but also loves nothing more than curling up on the couch for a good nap. He adores every person and dog he meets and would love to be part of a pack—especially with larger dogs he can chase around the yard and then pile up with for a cuddle puddle. Simply put, Trey knows no strangers and his love has no limits. Trey has overcome a lot in his life. When he first came into rescue, he was recovering from gunshot wounds and two broken legs. Even after everything he’s been through—and the loss of a home when his family relocated—Trey remains incredibly trusting and gentle. You may notice him flinch if a hand appears suddenly, but the moment he realizes it’s coming with love, he melts right into the affection. Trey knows basic commands, is fully housetrained, and is a wonderful companion. He does best in a home with a privacy fence or without close dog neighbors, as seeing dogs through a fence can make him a little too excited. ✨ Trey is: ✔️ Around 9 years old and ~60 lbs ✔️ Fully vaccinated and on monthly flea & tick prevention ✔️ Recently treated for heartworms. NEED ADOPTOR OR FOSTER ASAP. When Baby was a puppy, she was trapped in a house fire in Gadsden, Alabama. Two people died in that fire. A Gadsden firefighter found her, pulled her out, and took her to Central Valley Veterinary in Gadsden. She survived. She still has scars on her back. She still has nightmares about it sometimes. The man who took her home from the vet at 14 weeks old is named Danny. She has slept in his bed every night since. Now Danny's living situation is changing. He has about a month to find Baby a home. He is asking for help so she does not have to start over from scratch. Here is what Danny wants you to know about Baby. She is almost three years old. She is house-trained, spayed, heartworm negative, registered with Alabama Bullies. She walks on a leash. She lives indoors and only goes outside to potty. She gets along with all dogs, big and small. She loves women. She loves everybody. She is also high strung. She barks. She is scared of fire, of candles, of storms, of fireworks, of loud noises. She will sit in front of a fireplace when it is cold, but only if her dog brother is next to her. There is one hard truth you have to know about Baby before you apply. She will kill a cat. She is also death on rats, mice, squirrels, and rabbits. If you have a cat, do not apply. Save her the heartbreak of being returned. If you do not have a cat, Baby is the kind of dog who will love you with her whole self for the rest of her life. She acts tough but she is scared of her own shadow. Danny wakes her up when she cries in her sleep. He wants someone to keep doing that for her. All of our adoptions are spay/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and microchipped.
