Story
$25! Harrison is an awesome 7 mo old boy. I am fostering him & his 3 siblings until I find them the right home to be loved & spoiled. They had a rocky start in life. I got them from a lady that had them free to good home on the side of the highway. I do require an adoption fee but ONLY to pay a portion of his vet care, ! Update! $100 of his adoption fee has been donated! Harrisons adoption fee is now only $25!!!! You can pay directly to the vet and specifically for him. That includes full vaccs and neuter. I have promised him the very bestest life, so please only apply if you can also make him that promise. Harrison is excellent with other dogs big and small... I have 7! He has also been around cats, geese & ducks. He is crate trained but also sleeps in the bed, is good with respectful young kids. They also love the trampoline are very treat motivated, sit for their food & ring bell to go potty outside. You will also need a baby pool because he loves to lounge around.

Story
If boisterous and beautiful is your kind of gal, meet Norma! She truly embraces life, with a long list of things she loves that includes romping in the yard, squeaking the squeak out of squeaky toys, playing tug, polishing her already good obedience skills (with a few yummy treats for motivation) and so much more. But don't feel left out - she also enjoys her people-time. In fact, she'll push through a loose gate to come be with you, so a secure yard is key. Due to her play style and energy, she is recommended as companion for dogs her own size only, kids 10+, and no cats please.  Norma has EPI, a condition that is manageable with a low-fat diet and enzyme supplements. Please ask the shelter for details.   ~  Est DOB:  Jan 2018 ~  Intake weight:  59#  ~  Free training - ask for details!  ~  Adoption details/application:  calhouncountyhs.blogspot.com/p/adopt.html  September 16, 2023, 5:19 pm

Story
Johnny is a big beefy dog looking for a big beefy guy (or gal) to pal around with! Throw on your matching tank tops and do your workouts together (you're sure to turn heads), followed by a long session tossing the ball around (he never passed a ball he didn't want to pick up), followed by maybe some weight lifting (he'll be your squatty spotter), followed by...yes, you guessed it, Johnny is all go! He's a bit of a freight train on leash and just enough of a bowling ball to knock over small kids, so an adult-only, active, breed aware home is going to be the best fit. Johnny is not compatible with other animals, so make sure you are going to the private gym (not to be mistaken with the dog park).    ~  Will be spayed/neutered prior to leaving the shelter.~  Est DOB:  Oct 2017 ~  Intake weight:  75#  ~  Adoption details/application:  calhouncountyhs.blogspot.com/p/adopt.htmlSeptember 16, 2023, 5:19 pm

Story
He was found wandering in a neighborhood and we took him in. Since that time things have changed and we are no longer able to keep him. He is full of energy and needs a strong hand. He is roughly 1 1/2 years old. Very pretty dog and loves to run and jump. I would like to see him go to a home that will be kind and loving with someone that has the time he needs.

Story
This gorgeous girl is Melody! Melody is a sweet girl that LOVES to be active and to be outside. Her very favorite toy is a rubber kong that she can safely chew on! She can be a little shy at first, but when she gets comfortable with you she LOVES to get tummy rubs! She likes to "rule the roost" so she will need to be any only dog- no cats and no other dogs. She has been around her pup foster siblings but does not like them. Melody is potty trained and crate trained! If her foster family is gone during the day she is crated and does very well. She is possessive over her food bowl so she prefers to be left alone while eating. Her foster family crates her and walks out of the room while she is eating to make her feel more secure. She’s really just afraid someone is going to take her food from her... Melody will be a great companion to the right family. If your family would be a perfect match for her, please apply!
