Story
Hunk has not had an easy life, and for that he was almost killed at the shelter.  Poor Hunk was completely shut down and terrified at the shelter, and thus responded with aggression. He sat for WEEKS never leaving his kennel because they were so afraid of him. It took our trainer and I 5 minutes and he was out wagging his tail. Hunk just needed a chance! He has been in training program since coming out of the shelter, and we have learned so much about him. Hunk LOVES to play. He is wicked smart and eager to please his owner. He wants an owner who will continue to lead him, support him, and set boundaries. Hunk does have dog aggression adn thus cannot interact with other dogs. He must live in a dog free home. He is 65 pounds of white potato that will love you until the end of time. He would be best wihtout young children, and preferably a female owner. (men can be scary).  If you made it this far, thank you. I know this dog has a lot of "red flags" and will require a very specific home, but he deserves it. Hunk is just an unsure muscular goofball that will thrive with the correct person. Please reach out if you think that might be you.    Thank you for wanting to adopt from Hank's Legacy Foundation. Story
URGENT NEED FOR A HOME!!!!!!  Crankshaft, is a 10-year-old neutered male staffie that came to the shelter as a stray and sat in a kennel for 100 days! He was a staff and volunteer favorite. And yet, no one wanted to adopt him!  We rescued him on September 22, 2023. Crankshaft is very friendly and sweet with people. He is great on a leash and can even walk with other dogs by his side or in the yard. . He was great with other dogs at the shelter in play groups.  He is great with female dogs, but does not like male dogs.  As such, he has to stay kenneled.  So we saved him from 100 days in a small kennel at the shelter to a large kennel with us.  HE NEEDS A HOME!  he is the sweetest dog!!!!!!!   We did not save him to put him back in a cage. He needs a home NOW! ##1851633##

Story
URGENT NEED FOR ADOPTER FOR COBALT!  This dog is blue from the north central shetler. he spent over ONE YEAR in the shelter.  he was medically alerted and schedueld to die for losing weight and having tumors.  At the last minutes someone stepped up to temporarily foster blue to save his life. his tumors were removed and now he needs a home!  he is very friendly and playful.  he likes other dogs.  Our temporary foster sent him back, through no fault of his own. He is great with all the dogs at the sancutary, but some of the dogs don't dig him!   a senior dog sanctuary is no place for a 6 year old healthy dog!  We needs a home NOW!!!    This dog is sweet, kind, friendly and deserves to have the best of the rest of his life!  Please help us get back to saving senior dogs ! we can not save another dog until Cobalt has a home! ##2011277##

Story
Mia is 7 years old and the most delightful little pibble you’ll ever meet. She is only with us because her family lost their home. She loves long walks, playing with her toys, and most of all, having someone sit with her on the couch and snuggle with her. She’s in good health, but our vet does think she needs to lose a little fluff, so she is eating a special low-fat food to help her lose a few pounds.  She adores everyone and is already vying for the title of "happiest pup" here at the Ranch. She’s the one for you if you love silly, fun-loving pittys. Because we require visits here to our rescue and home checks, adoptions are limited to the Los Angeles, Ca area. You can see more pictures and videos of Mia on our Instagram page @thebrittanyfoundation.
