Snare is a gentle, sweet puppy who loves being close to his people. He has a calm, affectionate personality and is happiest when he's soaking up cuddles, attention, and companionship.Snare has been diagnosed with Cone-Rod Dystrophy 2 (CRD2), an inherited retinal disease that affects vision. He was born with nystagmus, a condition that causes involuntary eye movements, and he is believed to be significantly visually impaired. As the disease progresses, Snare is expected to lose his remaining vision and will likely become completely blind.The good news? Snare doesn't let that stop him from being a happy puppy. He explores his surroundings, enjoys interacting with people, and approaches life with the same curiosity and enthusiasm as any other young dog. Dogs rely heavily on their sense of smell, hearing, and memory, and visually impaired dogs often adapt remarkably well to their environments.Snare would thrive in a home that can provide:• A consistent environment with minimal furniture changes• Positive reinforcement training and confidence-building experiences• Patience and support as he continues learning to navigate the world• Lots of love, companionship, and encouragementWhile Snare may experience life differently than other puppies, he has just as much love to give. She was clearly born for the VIP life.Meet this beautiful 2-year-old American Staffordshire mix — a true little diva with a heart of gold.She is as sweet as they come, but she’s also a sensitive girl. You can tell that life hasn’t always been as kind to her as it should have been, and she deserves someone who understands that her heart needs a little extra gentleness and a whole lot of love.Once she feels comfortable with you, she is absolutely devoted. She walks beautifully on leash, stays close to her people, and has a loyalty that is hard to put into words. And when she’s ready to relax? She melts right into your lap, presses herself against you, and seems perfectly content just being near her person.When it comes to other dogs, she’s very neutral. She isn’t looking to be the center of the dog party, though. She can be a little shy and doesn’t particularly appreciate being bombarded by a bunch of dogs. She’s much more of a one-on-one kind of gal — give her her person, a little space, and some time to feel comfortable, and she’s right where she wants to be. She gets offended and sad if dogs bark at her with attitude but she does not bark back. She went on a field trip to Main Street and a volunteer described her as the perfect dog. She was hesitant to get in the car ( probably wondering if she was going to be dumped somewhere else) but once she saw other dogs on Main Street she perked right up and led the way!While she was out she met two cats and did fantastic! We have a feeling it was not her first greeting with cats as she completely ignored them and wondered why they were chasing her leash!She isn’t asking for much — just someone who will recognize how special she is and treat her accordingly.She deserves the good life. The soft bed. The special treats. The adventures. The endless cuddles. The person who proudly tells everyone, “Yes, she sleeps right there.” The kind of home where she is cherished, spoiled, and completely adored.Because this girl isn’t ordinary.
