Rylee loves all things active. She’s great at our agility course, loves water, and rides great in the car. She needs an active home that will allow her to bring her comfort toy with her, it helps her get through tough situations. We have noticed a huge change in her since using the ball as a positive tool. She will need continued guidance when meeting new people and animals, but walks wonderfully on a leash. CRCCS is happy to show you how to properly introduce her to new people, and how we use her toys to work her through her challenges. She’s a fun girl! Her adoption process includes training, demos, free services and more.

Meet Journey Journey’s story is one of second chances. She was surrendered by her owner and found herself on the euthanasia list at a high-intake shelter through no fault of her own. Thankfully, she was rescued just in time and is now safe in a loving foster home in Reno, NV. Journey is smart, loyal, and eager to connect with her people. She loves spending time with those she trusts and thrives in a calm, structured environment. Journey can be selective with other dogs, so we recommend slow, thoughtful introductions if there are other pets in the home. She’s looking for an adopter who will give her the stability and love she deserves — someone who understands that trust takes time and is willing to walk this next chapter of her Journey together. She has some skin allergies that are now being treated and are managed with diet. (such a blue nose thing) Location: Reno, Nevada Adoption Fee: Includes spay/neuter, microchip, and age-appropriate vaccines. Compatibility: Dog selective; slow introductions recommended. Her foster mom says " Heya boss! Just an update on Journey’s vet visit: they thought she was very well behaved. they gave her a shot, a pill to take with dinner and special food. also a leave on mousse for the rashy areas. the vet said no people food and treats have to match the special food. This sweet girl was rescued with her litter of eight tiny puppies. She was such a good mama, and now that all of her puppies have found their forever homes, it’s finally Chili’s turn. 💕Chili’s is a shy, gentle soul who is still learning to trust the world. She would do best in a calm home, ideally with another confident dog who can show her the ropes. With patience and love, she’s sure to blossom into the loyal companion she’s meant to be.In her foster home, Chili's is so soft with the resident old, blind, little Miniature Pinscher. The foster mom says having a confident dog to teach her the ropes will help her grow a lot. She's now playful with the dogs at her foster mom's work but alone it's like she doesn't know how to play outside because she just sits by the back door to be let back inside. Lyric had a great day out of the shelter on a date. She did great in the car, but needed a bit of help getting in. Lyric is very gentle on the leash. She loves smelling and looking at everything around and will sit politely for a treat.Lyric was very calm when other dogs walked by even when a couple of dogs barked at her, she never barked back. Their date took them to Virginia lake and to meet new people at the V.A. Lyric had a great day and can`t wait for more dates in her future.
