Story
Eight month old Zipper was part of a three pup Bully Breed orpaned litter that joined our Connecticut Rescue at the end of August. All the pups in this litter have gentle temperaments and playful personalities. Despite the chaotic shelter process, these pups show no obvious signs of trauma or neglect.  Zipper would be a great choice for a savvy Bully adopter, willing to continue training and socialization. He could easily join a multi-dog home with older, playful animals tolerant of puppy energy. He would thrive with an active family with older kids who have been taught to be gentle with young dogs.  Zipper is in excellent health, fully vaccinated and dewormed. If interested please write to Angelsfrgod@aol.com or call/text Denise at 860-908-9738 for more info.

Story
This sweet girl is one of many dogs who's fate it was to be abandoned here in the south. People are throwing sweet dogs out day and night in this economy. Ducky is one of the lucky ones that was picked up by a kind stranger and brought to a rescue that was able to find a foster! She is Spayed and UTD on required vaccines. Ducky likes other dogs but is rambunctious. She loves everyone she meets so older children would be fine. She is close to housetrained and will just need to get comfortable with her new routine. If you would like to add this sweet and very pretty girl to your forever family, please email omlc7@hotmail.com and we will send our info and app. If you do not see a response, be sure and check you junk folder.

He came to us from an abusive situation where he was starved. He is friendly with adults but probably not good with kids. Story
We adopted Otis seven years ago from a shelter in New Jersey that brought dogs up from Tennessee so that they wouldn’t be euthanized. He has been a wonderful loving family dog since then. Recently we had an issue where my daughter tried to shoo him away from food and he nipped at her. Due to our concerns because we have two small children we thought it best that he should be rehomed. He has always been a wonderful happy loving dog, but we just can’t take the chance that possibly something could happen so we would like to find a warm loving home for him. Thank you for your time.

Story
Let’s talk about Liberace Libby (fka Livi).. she was adopted as a 10 week old puppy and surrendered back to us when she was a year and a half old. Due to absolutely no fault of hers, her dad had family medical issues and could no longer keep her. Libby struggled at first understanding what happened to her person, she had to rebuild trust and know that she was loved and safe. We have all been there, when life throws us a curve ball we didn’t see coming… then our second chapter starts. So who is Libby now? She is silly! Playful! Loving ( especially if you scratch her butt, she will be your best friend). She is smart and curious and will attach herself to your hip. Libby loves to run and is very athletic, she is great at chasing the ball then running full out and stopping right in front of you, dropping the ball and wanting to fetch again. She loves squeaky toys, warm blankets and soft beds. Libby is curious with other dogs (slow proper introductions are best), she plays and wrestles, at times she gets excited and plays rough. She is learning and working hard on her play skills. She just loves having a friend (don’t we all?) She is not good with small dogs so a dog her size or larger would be best for her. She does have a prey drive for small animals as she didn’t grow up socialized with smaller dogs so no cats, bunnies or small dogs for her. Children- she has fostered with a small child (7 years old) and did well however we suggest an older child or teenager as she doesn’t know her size and smaller children move differently than older children. Did we mention Libs is smart! She learns new things quickly and is very eager to please her person, training with her is easy as she looks to her person for direction and guidance. Libby is a silly girl and her expressions are priceless as is her side eye when you’re talking to her. She loves to talk to you and arroooo when she’s happy. Libby does a tippy toe dance when she is excited and wants to play. You simply can’t have a bad day when Libby gives you all of her heart. Libby is fully vetted, crate and leash trained and housebroken. She is 2 years old and petite at 39 lbs. Our goal is to find her her furever family, she deserves to have her happily ever after. We have waived her adoption fee because it’s about finding her the best home. Please inquire/apply at www.northboundrescue.com Libby is hw ( heartworm) negative, fully vetted, spayed/neutered and microchipped. Please fill out an application at www.northboundrescue.com

Story
Pocket sized bulldog mix with great Corgi type ears! Very friendly girl who listens well. She is good in her crate. Loves to go for long walks and car rides! Ginny is not high energy. She would do well with an older person/persons who has a fenced yard where Ginny could get out of the house to take care of "business"
