Story
Let’s talk about Liberace Libby (fka Livi).. she was adopted as a 10 week old puppy and surrendered back to us when she was a year and a half old. Due to absolutely no fault of hers, her dad had family medical issues and could no longer keep her. Libby struggled at first understanding what happened to her person, she had to rebuild trust and know that she was loved and safe. We have all been there, when life throws us a curve ball we didn’t see coming… then our second chapter starts. So who is Libby now? She is silly! Playful! Loving ( especially if you scratch her butt, she will be your best friend). She is smart and curious and will attach herself to your hip. Libby loves to run and is very athletic, she is great at chasing the ball then running full out and stopping right in front of you, dropping the ball and wanting to fetch again. She loves squeaky toys, warm blankets and soft beds. Libby is curious with other dogs (slow proper introductions are best), she plays and wrestles, at times she gets excited and plays rough. She is learning and working hard on her play skills. She just loves having a friend (don’t we all?) She is not good with small dogs so a dog her size or larger would be best for her. She does have a prey drive for small animals as she didn’t grow up socialized with smaller dogs so no cats, bunnies or small dogs for her. Children- she has fostered with a small child (7 years old) and did well however we suggest an older child or teenager as she doesn’t know her size and smaller children move differently than older children. Did we mention Libs is smart! She learns new things quickly and is very eager to please her person, training with her is easy as she looks to her person for direction and guidance. Libby is a silly girl and her expressions are priceless as is her side eye when you’re talking to her. She loves to talk to you and arroooo when she’s happy. Libby does a tippy toe dance when she is excited and wants to play. You simply can’t have a bad day when Libby gives you all of her heart. Libby is fully vetted, crate and leash trained and housebroken. She is 2 years old and petite at 39 lbs. Our goal is to find her her furever family, she deserves to have her happily ever after. We have waived her adoption fee because it’s about finding her the best home. Please inquire/apply at www.northboundrescue.com Libby is hw ( heartworm) negative, fully vetted, spayed/neutered and microchipped. Please fill out an application at www.northboundrescue.com

Story
Jayce has had a rough start, but you would not know it when you meet him. He lived his life on a chain, he almost lost his life after being attacked by another dog which is when he came into our care. Jayce went from living on a chain, to a kennel for a few months and now he has freedom and he LOVES it!! He enjoys finding a cool place to rest, he ABSOLUTELY loves toys! He is often found with a toy in his mouth, he tosses them and entertains himself. He enjoys a leisurely walk and then is ready for more relaxing. Jayce may seem intimidating with his deep bass bark, but he will wag his tail along with his whole body just as quickly once he sees you. He is an enthusiastic and affectionate boy. Jayce gets along well with female dogs (as long as they aren't overly dominant). He is a pretty laid back guy that is just so happy to be in the moment. He could stand to learn not to jump when excited but otherwise he is a perfect gentleman. Jayce has been waiting to go home for 8 months for someone to pick him. He is a solid guy, weighing around 60 lbs. His ideal family would be one without small children as he has not had the opportunity to meet them. **************PLEASE READ THIS FOR NEXT STEPS**************** COMPLETED APPLICATIONS TAKE PRECEDENCE OVER INQUIRIES. Whether she's nestled on the couch or curled up in her crate, Leona's affectionate nature shines through, making her the perfect companion for cozy evenings. Not only is Leona a cuddle expert, but she's also a model of good behavior, thanks to her impeccable crate training. Story
Available in TX only! Granger, a 54-pound young adult rescue dog, embodies a unique blend of traits that make him an endearing companion. Initially cautious around strangers, he blossoms into a loyal and affectionate friend once he establishes trust. His wide-set, beautiful eyes are a distinctive feature, complemented by charmingly bow-legged stature reminiscent of a bulldog. Granger thrives in the company of other dogs, eagerly seeking opportunities to snuggle and play with his furry pals. His social nature extends to adoring kids, showcasing gentle and amiable behavior around them. A testament to his adaptability, Granger is both kennel and potty trained, demonstrating discipline and understanding of boundaries. While initially uneasy with car rides, he is gradually becoming more comfortable, displaying resilience and openness to new experiences. Granger came into rescue with frequent upper respiratory infections. Extensive medical testing was done and it was discovered that he has a fungus that infiltrated his lungs and cervical spine. He underwent a vaccine regimen to stop the progression of the fungus. He will require that vaccine annually. Despite his medical condition, he continues to thrive and love life! His gradual acclimatization to car rides mirrors his overall willingness to embrace change and learn. Granger's journey from a hesitant newcomer to a beloved companion reflects his resilient spirit and willingness to form deep connections. In essence, Granger is an amiable, adaptable, and affectionate dog whose gradual warmth towards strangers underscores his loyalty and trustworthiness once he embraces friendship. His love for canine and human companionship, along with his charming features and gentle demeanor, make him a cherished addition to any loving home. Story
Meet Ozzy — your future best friend with a heart as big as his beautiful blue coat! Ozzy is an incredibly handsome blue American Bully who turns heads wherever he goes, but it’s his sweet, affectionate nature that truly makes him shine. This lovable boy is all about the snuggles and will happily curl up next to you for some serious cuddle time. He’s the kind of dog who just wants to be close to his people and soak up all the love he can get. Ozzy is currently being fostered in a home in Seguin, TX, where he's thriving with routine, affection, and structure. He absolutely lives for car rides—he loads up like a dream and settles in quickly, making him an ideal road trip companion. Whether it’s a drive to the park or a cross-country adventure, Ozzy is ready to ride shotgun with his favorite humans. Ozzy also has a playful, goofy side—he loves water and can’t get enough of playing in the hose! If you’ve got a yard and a sprinkler or hose, you’ve already won his heart. Watching him splash around is pure joy. While Ozzy is a sweetheart through and through, he’s still working on his leash manners. He gets excited when he sees something interesting and tends to pull, so some basic leash training will help him thrive. Ozzy is available for adoption in Texas, but he can also be transported to the Northeast or Pacific Northwest for the right home. Don’t miss out on this water-loving adventure buddy!
