Would love to snuggle on the couch with his people after a walk. He wants to be by your side , go where you go and do what you do. Bosco would be the best companion or family dog you could imagine. Bosco was given to a crummy Texas kill shelter because his owners could no longer care for him. He’s been overlooked but that doesn’t keep him down! The love you show him will be returned ten fold . Vaccinated, neutered, hw-. Bosco is ready to start his new life . You have the power to change his life ! Be the hero you want to be! Story
Meet Larry: Professional Goofball of the Universe Looking for a dog who brings the party, the energy, and the full-body wiggles? Say hello to Larry — a 3½‑year‑old fun machine who has been scientifically proven* to make every day 200% brighter. (*Okay, maybe not scientifically… but we’re pretty confident.) Larry is the type of dog who wakes up every morning ready to seize the day—with a tennis ball, a zoomie plan, and a sparkle in his eye. His absolute favorite thing in the whole wide world? FETCH. If fetch were an Olympic sport, he’d bring home the gold. And also the silver. And probably all the tennis balls too. He ADORES other dogs and thrives in playgroups, where he shows off his best moves (including but not limited to: dramatic play bows, joyful sprints, and his signature “happy hop”). Larry is basically that one friend who’s always the life of the party—except he has fur and better manners. Speaking of manners, this smart cookie really enjoys training time! He knows his basics and loves learning new things, especially if it means he gets praise, treats, or the promise of another round of fetch. What Larry dreams of: An active family who can keep up with his zest for life A fenced yard where he can zoom, romp, and practice his ball‑retrieval skills Humans who will continue his obedience training (he’s already a star student!) Tons of love, laughs, and adventures Larry has been waiting in a Tennessee shelter for a while now, and he’s so ready for his big break—a forever home where he can shine, play, and finally belong. If you’re looking for a joyful, energetic, loyal companion who will keep you smiling and keep you moving, Larry is your guy. Apply for this Hamhead!!! LOL If interested in Larry, please apply online: ADOPTION APPLICATION or email us at Info.FetchingHeartsRescue@gmail.com. Unless otherwise indicated, all dogs adopted through Fetching Hearts have received the following before being available for adoption: Thorough veterinary examination. All routine annual vaccinations, including Rabies, DHLPP Bordetella (Kennel Cough) Heartworm Test Fecal Test, Deworming Microchip Flea and Tick Prevention Heartworm Prevention. Spay/Neuter All dogs are quarantined for two weeks outside of the shelter (puppies four weeks) to ensure they don't break with disease. VETTING NOTE: Fetching Hearts Rescue completely vets our dogs thoroughly to the best of our knowledge based on communication with our Southern Vets. If anything is brought to our attention, we treat the dog. After adopting the dog, you will be responsible for following up with all vetting going forward. HEARTWORM NOTE: Dogs who were treated for Heartworm can test positive up to 4-6 months after last treatment. All dogs are immediately put on Heartguard/Ivermectin following the treatment to kill the Heartworm larvae. All dogs should be re-tested after 5-6 months from the last Heartworm treatment. Story
Zeus is a playful 8 year old that loves to sit on your lap. He likes to go for a ride and will sit up in the seat beside you to watch everything. His owner passed away so he is kind of lost right now hoping that he finds a new home with caring loving people as soon as possible. Zeus was housebroken but could use a refresher course as his owner was very sick before passing away and was unable to take him outside for his potty breaks at times. A loving person that would put a lot of care into him would have a friend for life. If you would like to add the playful man, Zeus to your home, please respond by using the big black button marked " Ask About Me" and we will send you an application. These dogs are being fostered in TN but included in your adoption fee is transport to a location near you by Rescue Riders Pet Transport, the most animal-friendly transport on the road.

Story
Y'all....boys like these are kryptonite! The secret sauce that makes ever better. The key to your heart. The heart stealer you can't resist. His name is Danny Zuko and he is an absolute DREAM! For starters, look at those eyes! He has the type of eyes that people wish they had. You can't help by be captivated by them. Also, he has a permanent puppy face and the softest most unique coat I've ever seen. When it comes to appearance, everything about Danny is 10/10. Looks can only get you so far in life as we all know. Luckily for Danny, he doesn't have to worry about that because he has an even better personality!! He is kid friendly, dog friendly, affectionate, and sweeter than a snicker. Watch his video and fall in love with this handsome hunk: https://youtu.be/-jeilHvN9pI?si=CxPRgH4R_GTeDNRY Danny Zuko is a pittie mix approximately 1 year old and currently weighs 67 lbs. He is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it's always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. Danny is dog friendly and has done great with all of the dogs we have introduced him to. He loves dogs who love to play and have a happy go lucky vibe about them. When he finds a buddy who's just as playful as he is, it's all about floppy mouths, loosey-goosey faces, wrestling matches that are the dog form of a pillow fight, and a game of tag you're it from time to time. He's not all play all the time either, so no need to worry about your house turning to into a 24/7 dog park. He appreciates those calmer moments and after a good wrestling match, play breaks end mutually and you’ll find him off exploring or he’s next to a person soaking in all the affection. He would be best in a home with a dog who is looking for a playmate that can match his play style, one that also enjoys the company of another dog, and appreciates those calmer relaxing moments as well. When it comes to training, this boy loves treats and will do anything for a treat and some encouragement. Treats are one of the ways to this boy's heart. He takes treats very gently too and I love the way his mouth just barely touches your hand to where you can feel how soft and fuzzy his lips are. Which are smooth like butter. Danny already knows how to sit and will even automatically sit for you too from time to time. On a walk, Danny does pull a little bit at the beginning out of initial excitement but after a few minutes and some guidance he is walking like a gentleman and is an enjoyable walking buddy. He has a curious nose and likes to smell all the smells while also looking up and checking in with you from time to time. Especially if you're telling him how handsome he is LOL he looks up at you with the biggest smile. He is crate trained and potty trained as well. He will need a reminder about where the appropriate potty places are once he arrives at his forever home and while he settles into his new routine. We have noticed that he does best when he can get a couple of potty breaks throughout the day. Danny would thrive in a home with a semi-active family looking for a buddy to take with them on adventures, explore those trails you have saved on the map, and a loving companion for you to show them all about what it means to be loved and cherished. He would do best in a home with a backyard in the suburbs where he can stretch his legs, romp around, and enjoy the sunshine rather than in the heart of the city. We are willing to test Danny Zuko with anything out need us to in order to ensure it's a perfect match. We can make anything happen! Just let us know.
