Story
Our pup Dilly has had the best possible upbringing that we could provide. He was born 8/4/22 at our Connecticut Rescue, just two weeks after we pulled his Mama, Bonita, from NYCACC. Bonita was pregnant when NYC Animal Control officers found her tied to a gate in Brooklyn. After five days, she was transferred to us for whelping. Bonita was the ideal Mama, and her nine pups have thrived. The pups were weaned effortlessly, and have been well socialized since birth. At 13 weeks old, Dilly went off to his forever home to live happily ever after, or so we thought. Unfortunately, the child in Dilly’s home developed allergies, so he returned to us. He is now over one year old and has grown into a strong, handsome boy. He is a gentle soul who is extremely affectionate, and loves to climb into his foster mom's lap. Dilly is a large, strong boy at 50 pounds, and seems subdued at first meeting. He has a gentle, sweet vibe and loves all people and other dogs. He would be an excellent choice for a multiple dog home, with adult dogs willing to share the spotlight and mentor a tender age pup. We have DNA tested the pups to be sure of breed mix, and learned they are 99% American Staffordshire Terrier, and 1% Border Collie. The Border Collie smarts definitely show up in Dilly. He has beautiful brindle Staffie coloring with distinctive white markings, and some big ol' Border Collie ears. Dilly would be an excellent choice for a savvy Bully Breed adopter, willing to commit to ongoing training and socialization. Dilly has been born into ideal circumstances, and we seek an adopter willing to raise him as a Canine Good Citizen. Dilly is in excellent health and has been neutered. He has received routine vaccinations and health screenings. If you are interested in Dilly, please write to Angelsfrgod@aol.com or call/text Denise at 860-908-9738 for more info.

Story
Anna here! I was found with my three babies that were only a few weeks old. They are now weaned so I'm available for adoption! I'm friendly, fun, exciting, and would love to have a fur-ever home where I feel safe, loved, and have plenty of food and soft beds! I am very good on a leash, and I play well with other dogs as long as there is only one at a time. I love everyone who comes up to say hi and would love to meet you too!

Story
Special Needs: Yes - Blue was log-chained to a tree her entire life so she doesn’t know how to play with other dogs. She doesn’t attack, but she will head-bump dogs as she runs by them. She doesn’t bite other dogs, but she has been known to leave marks because she doesn’t know how to play properly. Story: Blue loves attention and to run really fast! She rarely jumps on people, but when she does she’s gentle about it. She’s a lot of muscle too so whoever adopts her should be strong enough to handle her. She pulls a little on a leash but not enough to drag you along the ground. ;) She’s a very good girl who just needs someone with time and patience to teach her how to be a dog. Transport: If you do decide to adopt this good girl we transport to a destination near you whether you are in the Midwest or the Northeast we alternate every other weekend using the most animal-friendly transport on the road. Story
Hello! Cyrus here, pleasure to meet you! Me and my siblings were found on the highway, all by ourselves, a few of us were injured, no one took care of us! We were left to try to feed and protect ourselves at a very young age. We're hoping our new fur-ever family will come to the shelter and whisk us away to a brighter, safer future full of love and pets! We are very well behaved, love to get attention, and are just happy to meet anyone! Please help us have a better life soon! On a side note, the shelter thinks I have a gunshot wound on my front elbow. It's healed, but we just wanted to let you know I was injured. I would love to be a member of your family. Could you at least consider me as a new member of your family? I am located here in TN but would love to come to your place. We use the most animal-friendly transport on the road.
