Story
This sweet girl is one of many dogs who's fate it was to be abandoned here in the south. People are throwing sweet dogs out day and night in this economy. Ducky is one of the lucky ones that was picked up by a kind stranger and brought to a rescue that was able to find a foster! She is Spayed and UTD on required vaccines. Ducky likes other dogs but is rambunctious. She loves everyone she meets so older children would be fine. She is close to housetrained and will just need to get comfortable with her new routine. If you would like to add this sweet and very pretty girl to your forever family, please email omlc7@hotmail.com and we will send our info and app. If you do not see a response, be sure and check you junk folder.

Story
Vinny was completely vetted on 10/31/22 and is microchipped. He needs to be the only pet as he is not good with other dogs and cats. He weighed 60 lbs. at the time of vetting. He came to us from an abusive situation where he was starved. He is friendly with adults but probably not good with kids. Please send your phone number to learn more about Vinny.November 2, 2024, 2:03 pm

Story
Eight month old Zipper was part of a three pup Bully Breed orpaned litter that joined our Connecticut Rescue at the end of August. All the pups in this litter have gentle temperaments and playful personalities. Despite the chaotic shelter process, these pups show no obvious signs of trauma or neglect.  Zipper would be a great choice for a savvy Bully adopter, willing to continue training and socialization. He could easily join a multi-dog home with older, playful animals tolerant of puppy energy. He would thrive with an active family with older kids who have been taught to be gentle with young dogs.  Zipper is in excellent health, fully vaccinated and dewormed. If interested please write to Angelsfrgod@aol.com or call/text Denise at 860-908-9738 for more info.

Story
We adopted Otis seven years ago from a shelter in New Jersey that brought dogs up from Tennessee so that they wouldn’t be euthanized. He has been a wonderful loving family dog since then. Recently we had an issue where my daughter tried to shoo him away from food and he nipped at her. Due to our concerns because we have two small children we thought it best that he should be rehomed. He has always been a wonderful happy loving dog, but we just can’t take the chance that possibly something could happen so we would like to find a warm loving home for him. Thank you for your time.

Story
MacAurther After surviving his entire family being euthanized by animal control in his county and testing positive for heartworms he is very eager to find his forever humans. He is super fun and has the personality to match. He loves walks and loves giving kisses,And you can look at his handsome mug and see the love this little survivor has.He was left alive for a reason and that reason is obvious as soon as you meet him.He does like to play rough and really needs a big dog pal to equal his tenacity and energy. He listens like a semi stubborn bulldog but with no malice or ill intent, just goofy innocence. He is breed specific so I encourage anyone inquiring to research it a bit and understand the nature of his breed. FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. The adoption fee of $400 Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea/Tick/Heartworm Prevention, and Sheltering. Adult Dogs are Heartworm Tested and Treated as Needed. FOCCAS does not DNA test or guarantee breed. If transport is needed, there are additional fees to cover department of agriculture requirements and transport, the additional fee adds $300 to the adoption fee (any location out of Tennessee, East Coast, Great Lakes or New England regions)Thank You for Your Interest in Adopting a Canine Companion from Foccas-tn.org!To Apply Please Copy and Paste to your browser:https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=hb2428&method=online_form_html&formid=41LOCATED IN CROSSVILLE, CUMBERLAND COUNTY, TN. Story
Ollie is a young, active boy who loves to run around with other dogs. He enjoys attention from people. He gets along great with kids too. He would love an active family where ample exercise and mental stimulation will be provided. He wouldn't mind cleaning the floor under a highchair as his full-time job. He is being trained to walk on leash using a gentle leader. He is the best at it and would love to show you how well he does! He has visited our local assisted living center and just wanted to hug all of the residents and staff he met. He wants to please and is a good listener and a very sweet boy.FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN.
