She’s curious, bubbly, and always ready for her next adventure—whether that’s a walk in the park or a cuddle sesh on the couch. Basically, she’s the perfect balance of energetic and affectionate. Bella would thrive in a home where she gets plenty of cuddles, playtime, and chew bones. She does great with other dogs and would enjoy a furry sibling, but she’d also be happy as your one and only. A family, a couple, or a loving single person—she’s not picky, as long as there is love involved! His name is Chico. I agreed to take care of him temporarily, but his owner had to emigrate to another country. I have had him long, but that time has been enough to know that he is a noble dog. He adapts easily to any place, is very affectionate, playful, and sleepy, and he really likes following instructions to get a treat. He loves baths and being covered in soap. He is very good with strangers and He likes to go for walks in the park.

Kirby is a sweet affectionate young boy who was found roaming. He was adopted about a year ago,  but his home circumstances are rapidly changing through no fault of his own.  So we are helping to find him a loving home again.    He is great with other dogs and enjoys playing hard then settling down for some sweet cuddles.   He is crate trained and house trained and follows basic commands.  Now around 2 years old, and 40-45lbs he will make a loyal companion to a patient and loving home, as he makes his transtion from one home to another. To Foster or Adopt KIRBY, please apply at www.buttsmutts.com.  ##2138753##

Story
ROSCOE Roscoe came into our rescue because he had a foster, but then the foster bailed on him :( He now finds himself in boarding unsure of what has happened. Roscoe is fully vetted, and really needs a home where he doesn't need to be walked...he was once tethered (for his entire existence) and doesn’t like a leash, but is learning that it is not harmful. We can only assume that the leash reminds him of his life on a chain and he doesn't like to walk on one....We have used a harness, which is better, and with patience he would be fine. He is dog friendly and loves human attention!!! His adoption fee is $50 and needs either a foster or an adopter! Applications can be found here: https://www.jaspercohumanesociety.org

Story
Bruiser was picked up by Newton Co. Animal Control over a month ago. No one came to claim him and nor did he get adopted. Then after a month in a loud kennel he started have a mental decline & became depressed & it showed when he went out to play. He didn’t want to be with other dogs & didn’t want to play. The decision was made that he had to be out by Monday or other actions would take place. After seeing this poor guy, we decided to pull him into the rescue. He is a chill, older male boxer, about 5-7 yrs old, 65lbs, neutered, fully vaccinated & will be microchipped. When he came out of his cage, he was excited & definitely knew what a vehicle was because he jumped right up in the truck, laid down like a gentleman and enjoyed the ride. He knows the sit and shake command and is housebroken. He is not good with cats but is good with other dogs. If you would like to meet Bruiser please make an appointment with the front desk. An adoption application and interview are required for adoption. Adoption fee $250. Located in Covington, GA. Would be interested in finding a foster home in the meantime.
