Story
Daisy is a beautiful 9 year old female Staffordshire Terrier Mix, around 60 lbs. Daisy is a calm, loving and an all-around good girl. She’s very  laid back and just likes to chill at home with her people.  Daisy’s main requirement is she needs to be the only pet in the home. Daisy is completely housebroken, crate trained and wonderful in the house. She does best having a fenced yard to go outside to do her business.  Dogs have started spats with her in her foster home causing her to be insecure around dogs. She’s happiest when she feels safe and secure and that’s when she’s the only pet. Daisy is vaccinated, spayed and microchipped.  October 28, 2025, 2:41 pm

Story
Please contact ADOPTION (adopt@doggieharmony.org) for more information about this pet. Pretty Princess's story will break your heart. At just two years old, her world had been limited to a tether and a life meant only for breeding. Despite her rough start, she has the sweetest temperament. She loves every person she meets and wants to cuddle! Pretty Princes recently went into a foster home and has proven to be wonderfully low maintenance. She has adjusted to her new routine quickly. She is easy on the leash, well-behaved in the car, and does not resort to chewing or destroying anything when left alone. However, she does have reactivity toward other dogs. We are not surprised by this. She came with multiple wounds suggesting she had been attacked by other dogs. Pretty Princess is also heart worm positive and currently undergoing treatment. Do unicorns exist? We believe they do and we’re searching for one now. Pretty Princess is waiting for that special foster or adopter who is willing to keep her as an only dog. In return, Pretty Princess will shower you with love, gratitude, and cuddles. Age: 2 years  Weight: 50 lbs Temperament: Gets along with older considerate kids Training: Housetrained,  has some basic training Vetting: Spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm treatment paid for and underway Email for questions:      sonali@doggieharmony.org To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption) for caretakers to review. Story
Hello, I'm Mimosa, a sweet and smart lady with a mellow disposition. My friends here say I'm quite the character, with a funny sense of humor that keeps them laughing. I'm friendly and love to cuddle, but I also appreciate my independence. I can entertain myself when you're busy, but I'll always be there to welcome you home with a wagging tail. I am VERY low maintenance and quiet so I would be perfect for apartment living. I am content to sleep all day and only make noise when I want to eat, go outside, or play a bit. Then it is more of a coo than a bark. I will bark when outside and someone comes into the driveway so I'm an excellent watch-dog, but I really prefer to be inside most of the time.  I'm ok with submissive male dogs but can be reactive to other dogs, so I just need someone who understands what I've been through. Adopt me, and let's fill our days with laughter, cuddles, and unconditional love.  I can be reactive towards other dogs without a slow introduction but I have played with some of my foster's other male dogs. Here are some videos!   https://photos.app.goo.gl/XBVhz1N3NvPATSLv8   Check out her YouTube channel: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLEofXpgtyRJVRdHX6dF4yhdlaPeuy6Ogl&si=5jg_oQmdwpb-8wc4 Age: 4 years Weight: 65lbs Temperament: Gets along with all people but would be best as the only dog, or with a submissive male dog properly introduced Training: Housetrained, crate-trained Vetting: Spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm negative and on prevention Email for questions:     todd.smith@emory.edu To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption) for caretakers to review. Story
Please contact ADOPTION (adopt@doggieharmony.org) for more information about this pet. A good Samaritan rescued Indy from being abandoned . He is fostering in a home with an older, easily stressed small dog and 2 kittens - Indy has too much interest in the kittens so this is not the ideal situation. We think this pup’s ideal home would be as a solo pet or possibly as a sibling to another large dog. He is super friendly, playful, energetic, and sweet. He loves people, loves to be active, and enjoys playing fetch though he may get distracted here and there. He’s very lovable! He is easy to bathe and does great in the car. He is very food and treat motivated so we believe he will take to additional training well. He has a big heart and has a lot of love to give to anyone who wants to love him right back. We think he will make a great adventure buddy for a lucky person or family! Working with him on sitting and leash training. He does well in the bath and the car Age: approx 3-4 years Weight:  70 lbs, underweight, working on improving that Temperament: Gets along with with older kids, not tested with toddlers, other dogs his size, with proper introduction. Training: Housetrained, crate-trained Vetting: neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm  treatment is paid for and underway.
