Story
This sweet girl has had it rather rough.  The only real break she has gotten -  good people found her and they cared enough to get her to safety.  She was  heartworm postivie,   AND she had a fractured leg.  Her heartworom treatment is complete and her leg is totally healed.    She is sweet and happy and very playful.   She loves toys and chew bones and is crazy about a ball!!!!!!   We are happy to report that she gets along well with other dogs.  When we first took her in, she was dog reactive: we've tested and retested and seems her days in shelter have given her confidence not to be nervous around other pups.   ##2565697##

Story
This very handsome boy is Zeus/Kirby! He ended up at the shelter as a lost dog with ID on 11/27, and his people never came to reclaim him. Sadly, this is not his first rodeo at the shelter. He has been here before and was reclaimed, but this time he is hoping for a new, forever home where he will be loved and kept safe so that he never ends up back here again. The volunteers just adore Zeus and describe him as friendly, chill, and easygoing. Despite being a large dog, he is easy to walk. He also takes treats so gently. If Zeus sounds like the new BFF you've been searching for, please come meet him. We'd love to see him in a loving home in time for the holidays! Zeus is approximately 3 years old, and weighs 70 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines, has been microchipped and neutered, and did test negative for heartworms. Zeus is waiting patiently in kennel 827; his ID # is 15355. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heart worm or combo test and a microchip.

Story
Introducing this handsome guy named Stone/Chaos! He was brought to the shelter on 3/7 because his former pet parent could no longer take care of him properly. So he is on a quick search for a forever and committed home that will keep him safe and sound so he doesn't have to experience a loud, overcrowded shelter ever again. Stone is only a year and 4 months and weighs a mere 43lbs. The volunteers describe him as a a great dog who is super sweet and really cute. He loves his walking adventures when he leaves his kennel to sniff anywhere and everywhere and he walks really well on a leash. So he is anything but Chaos! He is a smart young man and can understand simple commands such as sit when asked especially for treats. So make sure you have plenty on hand! He stays quiet in his kennel while he patiently waits for his new family. Please take some time and visit with him in Run 58; his ID is 17436. He is waiting for you! Please help him find his way out of the shelter and into your heart, home and family. When choosing a forever pup, please make sure you have the space, time, energy, devotion, patience, love and lifestyle to ensure Stone has the best upbringing possible. They are lifetime commitments. Period. Stone is current on vaccines, will be neutered and microchipped and tested negative for heartworms. Please take some time and schedule to meet this awesome kiddo and get to know him a little better. Stone is probably what you have been looking for all this time. He is patiently waiting for his forever family to save his life. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers.
