Angel is an American Staffordshire Terrier mix born on 10/17/2025, now weighing about 22 pounds and still growing into her big-dog potential. She is incredibly sweet and cuddly, but also has a lovely independent streak and is perfectly content entertaining herself…especially if toys are involved. And sticks. Sticks are a very important part of her lifestyle. She loves to collect them, carry them proudly, and turn it into a gentle game of keep-away. She loves to play and is fantastic with adult dogs. Angel is respectful and socially savvy—happy to initiate play, but just as happy to back off if the other dog isn’t interested. She also has an excellent off switch and can settle easily, making her a wonderfully chill puppy for her age. Angel is not very vocal, sleeps through the night in her crate like a champ, and is already learning her manners. She knows how to sit and is working on “lay down,” showing just how smart and eager she is to learn. She gets scared when she gets a bath but she remains well behaved she also does well with grooming from Petco

Christian is a young dog who loves to play and loves to snuggle! He is treat-motivated and has already had some very good training under his belt. He’ll do best with someone who wants a dog to walk with, play with, and cuddle with on the couch at the end of the day. When Christian came to us in late September, he was suffering hip pain due to a deformed femur-head. Veterinarians at the UI Small Animal Clinic determined he was a good candidate for an FHO surgery (Femoral Head Osteotomy). Christian had the surgery and went into foster care for physical therapy and recovery. He is now fully recovered and doing great! Christian was a real joy for the foster parents as well. He loves his crate (as long as the door’s open!) but prefers snoozing on a comfy dog bed.
