This sweet girl has a remarkable ability to build strong bonds with her humans in record time, leaving no doubt that she'll become an inseparable part of your life. While Claire Bear enjoys the company of other dogs during playtime, she does have a tendency to resource guard her people, food, toys, and bones, especially when she's on the couch. Story
I'm Hope, a bundle of energy and joy looking for my forever home. I'm a young, playful pup with a heart full of love for everyone I meet. Now, let's talk a bit about my manners. I'm a work in progress; I might need a bit of polishing in that department, but I promise, I'm eager to learn and make you proud. I'm working on my confidence around other dogs. Right now, I think it's best for me to be the only furball in the house. But fear not, I'm not anti-social - I just need some time to build up my confidence. And that's where you come in, my future family! To help me socialize and brush up on my doggy etiquette, the wonderful folks suggest I attend doggy daycare. It's like school but with more tail-wagging and belly rubs! I'm all for it if it means making new furry friends and becoming the social butterfly I know I can be.

Story
Poor Brynn is getting depressed from being in the shelter for well over 200 days. She spends most of her day curled up and gazing sadly out of her kennel door, hoping that her forever family is on the way. She does still chat animatedly with staff and volunteers once she's out though! She loves to snuggle but also has an independent personality where she is content to do her own thing. In the summer, she enjoys our play yard pool and splashing around after lounging in the sun. Brynn is dog selective but has previously lived with another dog. Since Brynn has allergies and will need ongoing care, the BUB Fund has graciously offered a $1,000 grant to her future adopter to help with ongoing medical costs! Thank you Lil Bub!

Story
Greetings everyone! My name is Leanna and I found myself as a stray after a short wanderlust phase. Life on the road was harsh, as I became quite skinny and badly sunburned on my nose. I found myself in a noisy shelter for 4 months--living in a crate in a hallway and eventually on the euthanasia list. Yikes! But, my story of neglect and trauma did not break my spirit! My foster mom tells me I have a heart of gold and will be a loyal partner for a lifetime! I am around 5 years old and 50 pounds. I like to play with non-pushy dogs, but I need a little warm-up to pups without boundaries. I am a shy girl who needs someone to understand that not everyone wants a stranger in their face because, quite frankly, it can be scary. I need time to make choices about how I want to introduce myself. Don’t most humans do this already?! I’d prefer no kids because they usually don’t have the attention span I need for them to read my energy. I’m a girl with big boundaries and I cannot be rushed to accept you. But, once I do I’ll gladly show you my belly or lay at the foot of your bed if you find this agreeable! Did you say sit or shake? Gladly!! Just give me a tasty treat as a reward-I even love dog-friendly fruits and veggies!! My foster mom says that spinach helps me zoom around the backyard and right over the 4 ft fence if she’s not watching…Is that bad?! I consider myself quite the athlete and love routine exercise because it makes me a happier pet baby! I’d love a patient and understanding dog parent to bring out the best version of myself. Don’t we all want this in life?!
