Story
Christy is a wonderful dog. She's been through so much negativity in her young life already. She was found as a stray and taken to a high kill shelter where it was discovered she was pregnant. She was so thin and malnourished that when she went to deliver the pups she had to have a c section and it was touch and go for her for a little while. After that, She was not able to nurse her babies so they had to be bottle fed. Sadly only two survived. But, they are doing great now. Christy is loving her new life where she is being loved and cared for. Someone thought it would be a good look to crop her ears and they did it themselves so it is not a good look for this beautiful girl. But if you can look past that you will see what an amazing girl she is. Christy is extremely affectionate, she wants to cuddle as close as she possibly can to her people. She loves to be touched all the time and always wants to be near you. She does good on walks however, she can pull sometimes. She's a quick learner and corrects very easily when you need to correct her. She listens very well, comes when called and knows "sit". Christy is more food motivated than toy. She loves treats and bones to chew on. She's a medium sized dog and currently weighs about 37 Ibs, and is approx 2 years old. Christy is still working on gaining just a little more weight. Christy is a medium energy girl, she loves walks and gets the zoomies sometimes, but knows how to relax and be lazy when you need her to be. She's amazing in a kennel, she's not a barker and is doing really well with potty training, no accidents in a while. Good with other dogs that are respectful and good with cats.
