We took in Bruce Wayne when he was 5 months old. We took him in from a person that did not have the means on taking care of him as he was tied up all day long. Bruce is a Gentle Giant, a Cuddler who loves the outdoors and playing with his toys. Can be very goofy at times and there is not one aggressive bone in his body. This boy needs a lot of attention and unfortunately I cannot provide the amount of attention he requires.

Hobbs was rescued from a kill shelter in Texas, but you would never know with how sweet and gentle he is. Hobbs is very, very affectionate and actually wraps his arms around you to hug, while reaching his nose up for kisses. He loves belly rubs while laying right next to you. He’s fantastic in a crate and goes right in, should one ever be needed. Hobbs is more than ready to bless any home with his overwhelming sweetness! He just wants a family of his own so badly. He’s wonderful on leash and takes everything in, even stopping to watch deer or admire other dogs stroll by. He is so playful and really enjoys a fenced in yard! He doesn’t recall the ball yet, but nonetheless, gets so excited when you throw toys for him. Hobbs is still a puppy at just over a year, so he would love training courses or even to work with his new parents for all that he’s so eager to learn. He already listens so well. He really enjoys playing with other dogs and would be great in a home with other dogs, and he even loves children. So long as his playful jumping is curbed, he could even go into a home with little ones. Nova, as in CasaNova!, is literally the most perfect boy! He is such a cool, calm sweetheart that loves nothing more than cuddling. I’m fact, he could lay in bed the entire day. He loves his soft meditation channel or his Bob Ross channel, a bone nearby whenver you aren’t… and done. He loves his walks and is exceptional on leash and have passed all his basic training with flying colors. He adores affections and snuggling in close and will be both big and little spoon, each night. He loves to be under the covers, but has to be touching with his head on your belly or in your arm. He is very polite, he is not mouthy, never talks back- in fact he is quiet as can be. He is so handsome, it can be overwhelming and everyone comments- so be prepared! He’s great in the car and actually loves car rides. He could go for days, just curled up and content to be next to you. He’s even perfect in a crate and goes right in, whenever necessary. He just waits patiently and contently for your return. He knows all his basic commands and actually loves engaging and continuing to learn! He aims to please his mama and man does he do that, tenfold. Nova will be best in a home where it is just him, no other pets and no kids, bc he does still have some fear after a life of mistreatment, until rescue. He will still wince or react to things that scare him on occasion, but his confidence and cool, sweet, calm personality is really what this boy is all about. Hi there, my name is Nova and I am a very pretty black and white American Staffy mix, about 2 years old, 36 lbs and a dog rescue found me at a San Antonio Animal Shelter. I was hoping like crazy that someone would adopt me, but I was scared and a bit shy and I guess I didn't really put my best paw forward as they say. It ended up not mattering since the dog rescue took me in and placed me in a local boarding facility, but just 1 month later they left me here and went out of business. Thankfully 4 Little Paws Rescue heard about my sweet personality and saw my pretty face, so here I am, telling my story and looking for a forever home! I am a sweet and friendly girl, a bit shy at first, but I warm up quickly and make friends with everyone, including kids and strangers. I am affectionate, but not the type that slobbers all over you, reserving kisses for very special occasions. I love playing with doggy toys, preferring ropes and squeaky toys, and doggy treats are always welcome, LOL. I’m friendly and nice to all my doggy friends, not pushy or overplayful. I rarely bark, I never potty in my kennel space, always waiting until I’m outdoors, I don't guard my food, and I love to go for walks. That’s me in a nutshell, and I am hoping to be on the next transport outta here. Over a year ago, Maximo was abandoned at a vacant property with a female boxer.  The purebred female was taken by a rescue.  Her mixed pup Maximo was left to fend for himself.  As a juvenile he hid from wild animals that killed other strays, scavenged food & sheltered from storms.  A local soon gained his trust.  He waited daily at her gate for a meal.  If he didn't show, she worried about him.  She knew he needed a rescue to reach his 3rd birthday. We heard Maximo's story & saw videos of how he survived.  It was impossible not to help.  Welcome Maximo to CH Boxer Rescue.  You're safe now. Maximo is 2+ years old, found a stray, HW negative but being treated for ehrlichia.  He was neutered last week.  He's submissive, submissive pees when taken out of the crate but they are working on it.  The kennel says he's incredibly sweet. UPDATE: Maia was pregnant when we was attacked and had 6 puppies on June 23rd.  Two of her surviving puppies, Ziva & Zinnia, are ready for adoption and we need to find a nice furever home for Maia as well.  She is very sweet with people including children.  Maia is blind but navigates familiar spaces smoothly.  She loves to lay in the grass while her foster mom works in the garden.  Maia can be an only dog or possibly go with a calm male dog. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Here's a Maia update since she was attacked last week. First, we thank you for all the generous donations we received on behalf of Maia! We asked & boxer lovers answered! She's doing really well. In fact, she’s healing SO well, she'll be cleared for transport this weekend!  She's taking antibiotics, pain meds & having her wounds cleaned.  We'd love to have a foster/adopter to welcome this sweet girl when she arrives in the Northeast this weekend.  She deserves love & comfort after this trauma. Since we've had Maia, we learned she is heartworm positive. We started her treatment plan which is paid for by your generosity.  She is also visually impaired. She walks well outside on leash but inside bumps into walls and doors.  It's also possible she's never been inside a house.  When dogs bark, she freezes but with encouragement from her foster she remains calm.   Please continue helping us with Maia!
