Story
Meet Paco Paco was found in an abandoned in an empty apartment in NYC. He was then brought to the New York Animal Care Centers. At the shelter he was shy but he had a good behavior evaluation. The shelter was getting full and his time was coming to and end. Luckily a wonderful woman came to his rescue and saved his life. These are PACO'S STATS: Approximate age 5 Approximate weight 55 Lbs Breed (s) Amstaff Spayed or neutered? Neutered Good with: kids? Yes older ones strangers? Slow introduction other dogs? Good with well-balanced dogs cats? Not tested On leash? Usually good and easy to correct if he gets a little excited and pulls Housetrained? Yes Crate trained? Yes Paco is a very smart dog who loves learning and having a routine. He’d do best with a person or a family who has some dog experience and can give him clear, positive guidance. Paco is strong and athletic- perfect for runs and outdoor adventures- but he’s also a big softie who loves to cuddle up and relax. Because Paco is strong and naturally protective, he feels best when new people and places are introduced to him with calm guidance and reassurance. Paco is the best of both worlds — playful and full of energy, but also a big sweetheart who loves to cuddle. He has the cutest droopy lips and a face you’ll fall in love with right away. Paco is athletic and would make a great running or hiking buddy, but he’s just as happy curling up next to you after a fun day. He knows all his basic commands like sit, stay, and leave it, and he’ll even go to his bed when you ask him. He’s crate trained, fully housebroken, and gets along great with other dogs. Paco has a heart full of love and can’t wait to find someone to share it with.

Story
Jayce has had a rough start, but you would not know it when you meet him. He lived his life on a chain, he almost lost his life after being attacked by another dog which is when he came into our care. Jayce went from living on a chain, to a kennel for a few months and now he has freedom and he LOVES it!! He enjoys finding a cool place to rest, he ABSOLUTELY loves toys! He is often found with a toy in his mouth, he tosses them and entertains himself. He enjoys a leisurely walk and then is ready for more relaxing. Jayce may seem intimidating with his deep bass bark, but he will wag his tail along with his whole body just as quickly once he sees you. He is an enthusiastic and affectionate boy. Jayce gets along well with female dogs (as long as they aren't overly dominant). He is a pretty laid back guy that is just so happy to be in the moment. He could stand to learn not to jump when excited but otherwise he is a perfect gentleman. Jayce has been waiting to go home for 8 months for someone to pick him. He is a solid guy, weighing around 60 lbs. His ideal family would be one without small children as he has not had the opportunity to meet them. **************PLEASE READ THIS FOR NEXT STEPS**************** COMPLETED APPLICATIONS TAKE PRECEDENCE OVER INQUIRIES. Story
Meet Dax! 🐾 Dax is a fun, outgoing, and playful boy with a big heart and an even bigger love for snuggling on the couch. He’s a true happy-go-lucky pup who brings joy wherever he goes. Dax is super dog-friendly and loves playing with his canine pals. He would thrive in a home with another dog to romp around with, but he could also be an only dog for an active person who enjoys adventures and companionship. Bonus—Dax is also cat-friendly! This confident and athletic guy is housebroken and kennel trained, does great on a leash, and enjoys car rides. Whether it’s playtime, прогулки (walks), or cuddle time, Dax is always up for being your loyal sidekick. If you’re looking for an amazing best friend—human or canine—Dax might just be your perfect match. ❤️
