Story
Gundren is a 3 year old neutered pit / lab mix. He’s a very sweet, laidback boy. He loves just lounging on the couch with you, with occasional zoomies. He can be pretty high energy when he’s in a playful mood but it goes pretty quickly as he’s just a big snuggle bug. He loves to be involved in whatever you’re doing, and has slight separation anxiety but that’s being worked on. He gets along with everyone he meets, people, cats, and dogs. Knows basic commands, in the process of crate training, no resource guarding. Is an overall good boy who just needs a loving home!

Story
Mabel has had a rough life. At 5 years of age she was brought to the Humane Society of St Thomas as a stray. She had horrible mange, extremely malnourished, green discharge coming out of her eyes, heartworm positive and heavily pregnant. Mabel had to be spayed immediately, even though she was full term pregnancy because of her poor health. Mabel needed our help! Mabel is so very sweet and people and kid friendly. She is reactive to cats and is dog selective when she encounters other dogs as she was crated so much of the time in St Thomas due to her health. Since arriving at Pet Search, her skin is looking better, she has started her heartworm treatment (which is fully covered with her adoption fee) and she just wants to be held, kissed and snuggled! Mabel loves to walk and is now realizing what "play means! She is around 40 pounds, so she is very manageable in size and weight to pick up., since she lives to sit on your lap! This very sweet girl needs a special person who will appreciate and cherish the love she has to share Applications can be found at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/PAPS/Dog KL#03301 Washington PA 15301

Story
Meet the incredible Izzy, although she's also known as Samantha, a true American Staffordshire Terrier mix with a heart as big as the open plains. Izzy's journey hasn't been the easiest, but her unwavering love and loyalty shine bright. With eyes that sparkle like stars, Izzy is the kind of companion that makes every car ride an adventure. She loves hopping in and taking her spot in the backseat, right between her favorite humans, ready to share the road with you. She's a cuddle enthusiast, known to flop down next to you just to feel close and get her fair share of affection. Izzy is well-behaved and knows the importance of a schedule, making potty breaks a breeze. She's kennel trained, but her curious nature and intelligence can sometimes turn her into a bit of an escape artist. She's full of love and a big fan of chew toys, treats, and special puppucinos to celebrate the good times. However, she does get nervous if left alone for too long, stemming from her early days when she waited by a ditch until kind humans came to her rescue. Izzy's heart overflows with love for her people, but she's still working on building trust with male figures due to her past experiences. She's not only great with other dogs, often rolling around in the grass, but she can also tolerate feline friends. However, her feelings towards other cats are unpredictable. And beware, she has a knack for letting everyone know when it's her turn for a potty break with her unique, loud cry. While she's an excellent leash walker, her excitement sometimes gets the best of her, leading her to try and take the lead. But with the right training and a bit more time, she's sure to overcome this small quirk. Izzy is a remarkable girl, full of love and a testament to the resilience of animals. If you're seeking a loyal and loving companion who's come a long way, Izzy is the one for you. She's more than just a dog; she's a treasured family member waiting for her forever home. Are you ready to welcome her into your heart and home? Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Story
Meet the heavy duty but also gentle and shy Harley! Harley is a great boy looking for his forever family to find him and adopt him! Harley is okay with other dogs but would benefit from slow, patient introductions, and older children as he doesn't like it when children get super touchy. He is a big, emotional loverboy who wants all your love, attention, affection, and care. He is a proud terrier mix, male, and medium sized at around 52lbs. He's good with all people and would love a walking partner who could show him how to be more comfortable on the leash! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)
