Story
is looking for a home as the only pet since he is not dog nor cat friendly. He always loves to have a toy in his mouth a majority of time! This big goofball needs an active home with a fenced in yard or someone who is willing to exercise him as he is an active boy. Hugo is a rottie/boxer mix (our best guess). He is UTD on vaccines, he is neutered, is microchipped. He was lyme postive, but has been treated. He is 5 years old and weighs in at 60 lbs. $125 to adopt. Apply at hshcwv.org/adopt.html

Story
Rosie & her sister were rescued from a place deep in West Virginia, where the breeders had too many puppies running loose, and some were being killed by coyotes. She was rescued with eight other puppies at the time. We brought them home when they were six weeks old. Her birthday is June 25, 2022. She just turned 2 years old. Rosie is really a good happy-going, loving, playful dog. She just does not get along with her sister. She loves kids and people. She gets along with my daughter’s dog. But for some reason she doesn’t get along with her sister. I am not sure if she likes cats or not. We have not set up the microchip yet. We really want to make sure she is being re-homed in a good home as Rosie deserves to be loved and active with.

Story
Cato showed up at my parents place 4 years ago. I brought him home, he is good with dogs after he is introduced and properly socialized, he lived with a beagle for 3 years and the beagle ran the house. He cannot be around cats what so ever. He needs an owner that has more time to spend with him than I currently do with my workload and schedule.

Story
COSMO came to our pound when his owner brought him and his 2 sisters to us as strays. He was way too thin, flea-infested, and missing most of his fur. Look at this guy now! He is fully vetted and ready for some forever love. COSMO is a little shy when he first meets people, but once he's comfortable, his personality shines. He is currently part of the Cell Dog Training Program at the local state prison where he is learning basic obedience and his trainer says he is doing quite well! He loves all the other dogs there and would probably enjoy having his own brother or sister. We don't know how COSMO would do with cats. COSMO's two sisters have already been adopted living great lives. Now it's COSMO's turn. Harrison County Dog Pound, 82900 Toot Rd. Cadiz, OH 43907 Open: Monday-Friday 10am-4pm; Saturday 9am-2pm; Closed Sundays and holidays. Out of state adoptions welcomed. Applications are available at the pound and online at harrisoncountydogpoundvolunteers, org. Good with dogs,
Story
We would like to introduce you to BAILEY. She is an American Staffy/Lab mix who came to our pound as a stray. She is about 3 years old and obeys commands. BAILEY is the sweetest girl. She loves people and loves attention. She is gentle, takes food and treats gently, walks well on a leash and keeps her kennel clean. When she is in the office with us, she asks to go out when she needs to. BAILEY has been with us now over a week and we have yet to hear her bark. Of course this doesn't mean that she won't bark, but she is calm, patient, and loving. She sits in her kennel and waits like a lady to be fed. She doesn't join in the mayhem when all the other dogs are demanding food and attention; she patiently waits her turn. BAILEY doesnt react at all to the other dogs, but if you have one, a meetngreet will still be necessary. She has met older children and has been fine with them, but we don't know about little kids or cats. Harrison County Dog Pound, 82900 Toot Rd. Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Mabel has had a rough life. At 5 years of age she was brought to the Humane Society of St Thomas as a stray. She had horrible mange, extremely malnourished, green discharge coming out of her eyes, heartworm positive and heavily pregnant. Mabel had to be spayed immediately, even though she was full term pregnancy because of her poor health. Mabel needed our help! Mabel is so very sweet and people and kid friendly. She is reactive to cats and is dog selective when she encounters other dogs as she was crated so much of the time in St Thomas due to her health. Since arriving at Pet Search, her skin is looking better, she has started her heartworm treatment (which is fully covered with her adoption fee) and she just wants to be held, kissed and snuggled! Mabel loves to walk and is now realizing what "play means! She is around 40 pounds, so she is very manageable in size and weight to pick up., since she lives to sit on your lap! This very sweet girl needs a special person who will appreciate and cherish the love she has to share Applications can be found at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/PAPS/Dog KL#03301 Washington PA 15301
