Meet Ozias. Oz was a "pull" from Preble County Warden's office where he was on the euthanasia list, due to overcrowding. Except for not liking cats OR, liking them entirely too much (lol), Oz is the perfect dog. Ozias is a handsome, brindle and white, three-year-old (DOB 01/16/21) American Staffy (Pit Bull Terrier) mix. He is crate and potty-trained. Oz knows his manners and doesn't jump up on you, he does great with other dogs, loves kids, and doesn't beg for food. Again, except for cats, Oz has shown zero aggression toward anyone. A home without cats is a must for this big (70lb.) guy. Ozias is a good boy who enjoys, and does well on leash, walks. January 2024: Ivory is now 14 months and 72 lbs. She is a big pup. She is the happiest girl whose tail wags nonstop. She has grown up in rescue so she will need some work on house manners. She needs 6' fence. Ivory walks on a leash and is crate trained. She is a powerful pup and will need an experience owner. Ivory can be with another dog, just needs supervised in the beginning. She plays hard and is a big girl. She loves her swimming pool and always has a ball in her mouth. Kids are fine, just not small ones. She will bowl them over. Her DNA was American Staffy, American Pit, Husky and Boxer. January 2023: Ivory was pulled from Carter County when she was diagnosed with Parvo at 2 months. She has fully recovered and is now fully vetted with all vaccines and microchip. She current on flea/tick. She is a great pup who loves kids and all humans. She is snuggly and affectionate. She will need a secure fence. Would be fine with other dogs Freds Mission Rescue has an adoption radius of 100 miles from Cincinnati. Hi, my name is Natasha, and was found by a Good Samaritan who quickly realized I was pregnant. Luckily, MVPC was able to squeeze me in and I raised seven healthy puppies. Because I, along with my puppies, are unusual looking, MVPC had one DNA tested. The test also gives breeds of each parent, and I have mainly Staffie and American Eskimo! However, realize there are several breeds in there, including Golden Retriever! All of my kids are taller than me now, so if you are looking for a shorter version, I am it. I am a happy, fun girl who loves everyone I meet. I am learning how to play with other dogs, and while I love them, they don’t always love my play, so a tolerant, playful male dog is best! I know all of my commands, but can be subborn! I am scared of thunderstorms, but my foster family is working hard on helping me feel safer and calm during storms. Overall, I am a happy, sweet gal and am going to make an amazing companion! I promise to absolutely keep you laughing all day long. I am so much fun! Hi, my name is Victoria and I am so glad to be done having puppies. This final round was no fun...there were 11. I'm done. I was also heartworm positive, so even after my puppies went to their foster homes, I still had 30 more days of treatment (meaning quiet time to heal-also no fun). I am ready to go. As in go home, go play, go run, go explore....just go. I want my svelt figure back! I am a very sweet girl and am learning how awesome it is to just be a dog. I am learning all the things...commands, leash walking...and am doing GREAT!! Naturally, I get pretty darn excited to come out of my crate, but once I get the zoomies out, I love to snuggle. The other dogs in the house are fun too and I am learning to play appropriately. Cats are really fun to chase and I get pretty excited when I see one, so any cats in the home need to be dog savvy. I've been smacked by one, but it didn't deter me much. I make myself look and sound even more adorable by "woo wooing" at you when I want your attention. So far, it has a 100% return rate of treats and affection and I am more than ready to conduct this research on my forever family.
