STELLA was transferred to us on June 7th for vetting and training. She was vaccinated and parasite tested and is now on HW preventative and flea tick prevention. She is dog selective, kid age 7 tested. She is a lovely dog, and stellar leash walker. She loves meeting new people and was very friendly at the vet office; and, playing with her rope jolly ball, and playing with water and the hose. She can be redirected. Also offering a free lesson and lifetime online support. Also collar and leash. Does very well with cats here and learning dogs, but is resource guarded of food, bones, toys, persons. Loves to chase squirrels, but never catches any. Loves to travel in cars and without a crate. However, is crate trained as necessary.

Story
Meet Penn! Small in size, big on personality — Penn is a brave, bouncy little guy who’s ready to find his forever home full of love and adventure! Penn forms strong bonds with his people and is happiest when he knows he’s got someone to protect (even if it's just from scary bees ). At first, the world might seem a little overwhelming to him, but once he feels safe, his goofy and affectionate personality truly shines. One of his favorite quirks? Bouncing on his front paws like a little kangaroo when he gets excited — it's ridiculously cute and guaranteed to make you smile! Penn has a moderate energy level — enough pep for fun adventures, but also plenty of love for snuggly downtime. His compact size makes him a great fit for most homes, and he’s done well in 4-foot fencing with no issues. He came from a hoarding case, so he’s used to living with other dogs and would do well in a multi-dog household. That said, he does like to act like a tough guy, so he'd be best matched with confident, calm dogs who are larger than him and can handle his big-dog attitude in a little-dog body. Penn is ready to be your loyal little shadow, brightening your life with his spunky charm and gentle heart. Call the Ranch to meet Penn today — your new best friend could be just one paw bounce away! Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. While they are with us, each and every rescue dog receives the best of care in a loving and nurturing environment. Their routines include daily playgroups or partnering with dog buddies, quality time walking or being groomed, and two meals a day with dog biscuits for dessert. All of our dogs receive the best in veterinary care and are spay/neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and fully vaccinated.  The standard adoption donation fee for all dogs and puppies is $300 (unless a reduced fee applies )  APPLY NOW       December 10, 2025, 7:08 pm

Story
Meet Caine – A Heart of Gold in a Playful Package! Say hello to Caine, a 7-year-old American Staffy mix whose heart is as big as his personality. This playful, affectionate, and outgoing boy thrives on attention, cuddles, and outdoor fun, always ready to shower his people with love and loyalty. Caine’s journey hasn’t been easy — he came to our shelter with broken teeth, scars, and troubled skin. But through it all, he has remained the sweetest, most loving dog, proving that a big heart can overcome any hardship. He enjoys a moderate level of activity, including daily walks, yard romps, and plenty of playtime. His super people-social personality means he adores both children and adults alike. Caine also gets along beautifully with female dogs, making him a wonderful companion for another playful pup. Caine has a little quirk — he has some alopecia, which means he’s missing a bit of fur. It doesn’t bother him at all, and with consistent moisturizing, he stays comfortable and happy. This resilient, affectionate boy is looking for a loving family home with a yard, where he can run, play, and snuggle to his heart’s content. If you’re ready to meet a dog who’s equal parts loyal, playful, and endlessly loving, Caine is waiting to become your forever friend! Call the Ranch today to schedule a meet-and-greet with this remarkable boy — your heart won’t regret it. Story
Meet Ramona – The Loyal, Adventure-Loving Girl Who's Been Waiting Too Long &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Can you believe Ramona has been waiting for her forever home since July 2021? Neither can we. This incredible girl is full of love, loyalty, and life—and she’s more than ready to finally find the family she deserves. Ramona is a well-trained, people-loving pup who thrives when she’s with her humans. She walks beautifully on a leash, knows her basic commands like Sit and Down, and with her sharp mind and eagerness to please, she’s more than capable of learning anything you want to teach her! Always up for adventure, Ramona is happiest when she’s active. Whether it’s hiking through the woods, splashing in the water, or hopping in the car for a road trip, she’s ready to go wherever you go. At home, she would love a large, fully fenced yard where she can run freely, chase a ball, or proudly carry around her favorite toys. Ramona has so much love to give—but she wants to give it all to you. She’ll need to be the only furry friend in the home, as she prefers to be the center of your world. With her huge heart and devoted nature, you won’t need anyone else! Despite her many amazing qualities, Ramona has been overlooked time and time again. But we know the right family is out there—one who will see her for the loving, playful, intelligent girl she truly is. Could you be the one Ramona has been waiting so patiently for? Call the Ranch today to learn more or schedule a visit. Ramona’s forever adventure could start with you.
