STELLA was transferred to us on June 7th for vetting and training. She was vaccinated and parasite tested and is now on HW preventative and flea tick prevention. She is dog selective, kid age 7 tested. She is a lovely dog, and stellar leash walker. She loves meeting new people and was very friendly at the vet office; and, playing with her rope jolly ball, and playing with water and the hose. She can be redirected. Also offering a free lesson and lifetime online support. Also collar and leash. Does very well with cats here and learning dogs, but is resource guarded of food, bones, toys, persons. Loves to chase squirrels, but never catches any. Loves to travel in cars and without a crate. However, is crate trained as necessary.

Story
Meet Skippy, the peanut-butter-colored pittie! Skippy has been with us for awhile now, and would love to find a special human to enjoy life with. Skippy is a very shy boy who has likely endured some trauma in his past. He takes a while to warm up to new people, but once he does, he shows his true nature as an extremely loving, silly, and smart pup. He already knows Sit, Lay Down, and Shake, and would love to learn more. Skippy walks well on leash, and he loves to go on walks or cuddle with his person on the couch. He's a velcro dog who wants to stay right by your side. He'll need someone who is patient, kind, and confident to expose him more to the world, so he can blossom into a confident dog!    Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. Story
Meet Caine!   Are you looking for the perfect dog packed into a perfect sized pittie? Well look no further than Caine! When Caine was first impounded by our local animal control he was covered in scars, had multiple broken teeth and a bad skin allergy. But despite all of this his tail kept wagging, true to his breed. Caine is such a golden boy: he loves meeting new people and is ready to face any challenge presented to him with a tail wag and a smile on his face.   Caine has been with other dogs here at the Ranch and may do well in a home with the right female companion though he may enjoy being your one and only love!    Caine may be a smaller pit but he still packs a punch in the strength department, so he will need someone who is active and strong to keep up with him. Caine keeps his kennel clean, does not play with toys much (but that could change in a home environment!) and loves to go on walks. He also loves car rides and is up for any adventure!   Call the ranch to learn more about Caine and to schedule an appointment to meet him!   Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. Story
Miss Mayzie is sovereign everywhere she goes. If you were to ask us which dog here at the Ranch is easiest to love, we would probably say Mayzie! Adorable Mayzie is a gorgeous blue-nose American Staffordshire terrier who first came to us from county animal control. She is just an angel: loving, affectionate, gentle, happy, eager to please... the list goes on. Her beautiful blue coat and charming smile are the cherry on top of this sweet-as-a-sundae girl. If you are looking for a dog who will be your constant companion, a calm and affectionate family member, the friend of all your friends, a sofa lounger, and a bed hog, then look no further. Mayzie will be all that and more! Mayzie is compact but strong for her size. While leash-trained she could use some help learning not to pull and brush up on her manners. But with her desire to please her handler, training should be a simple matter. Mayzie prefers to rule the roost alone and we don't know her history with cats. We think she would do well with children. All in all, Mayzie is ready to be a fabulous, friendly addition to some lucky family. Could it be yours? Then come on down to the Ranch to meet her today! Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. While they are with us, each and every rescue dog receives the best of care in a loving and nurturing environment. Story
Meet Molly May!  She has your typical pittie full body wiggles of excitement when greeting her humans! It's almost difficult not to wiggle and smile along with her as her love is contagious! With her body almost bending in half with every tail wag and her grumbles of excitement, she's sure to fill your days with nothing but joy.  Molly May gets along very well with other dogs of all shapes and sizes and is often a go to for larger playgroups. She's passive with most dogs, even allowing them to steal her beloved toys without a care in the world. As long as there is another one around to grab, she's happy! Even if there isn't another toy, Molly will still be content and curl up on her doggy bed and take a nap until that toy is available again.  Speaking of toys, Molly May loves, LOVES fetch! This girl could go all day if you let her and she would be the happiest dog in the whole world! She is an intelligent and well mannered girl who has most of her basic obedience down. So far she knows 'Sit', is fully potty trained, crate trained, walks well on a harness, and even does well off leash! There's not much this girl can't do and she will make the perfect addition to just about any family.  Finally, Molly May came from a home with a young child and did very well with them! She was gentle and knew to be calm around them so she would likely love a home with children she can play with! What more could you ask for? Call the Ranch to come meet Molly May today!
