Story
Meet Penn! Small in size, big on personality — Penn is a brave, bouncy little guy who’s ready to find his forever home full of love and adventure! Penn forms strong bonds with his people and is happiest when he knows he’s got someone to protect (even if it's just from scary bees ). At first, the world might seem a little overwhelming to him, but once he feels safe, his goofy and affectionate personality truly shines. One of his favorite quirks? Bouncing on his front paws like a little kangaroo when he gets excited — it's ridiculously cute and guaranteed to make you smile! Penn has a moderate energy level — enough pep for fun adventures, but also plenty of love for snuggly downtime. His compact size makes him a great fit for most homes, and he’s done well in 4-foot fencing with no issues. He came from a hoarding case, so he’s used to living with other dogs and would do well in a multi-dog household. That said, he does like to act like a tough guy, so he'd be best matched with confident, calm dogs who are larger than him and can handle his big-dog attitude in a little-dog body. Penn is ready to be your loyal little shadow, brightening your life with his spunky charm and gentle heart. Call the Ranch to meet Penn today — your new best friend could be just one paw bounce away! Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. While they are with us, each and every rescue dog receives the best of care in a loving and nurturing environment. Their routines include daily playgroups or partnering with dog buddies, quality time walking or being groomed, and two meals a day with dog biscuits for dessert. All of our dogs receive the best in veterinary care and are spay/neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and fully vaccinated.  The standard adoption donation fee for all dogs and puppies is $300 (unless a reduced fee applies )  APPLY NOW       July 17, 2026, 6:11 pm

Meet Ramona – The Loyal, Adventure-Loving Girl Who's Been Waiting Too Long &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Can you believe Ramona has been waiting for her forever home since July 2021? Neither can we. This incredible girl is full of love, loyalty, and life—and she’s more than ready to finally find the family she deserves. Ramona is a well-trained, people-loving pup who thrives when she’s with her humans. She walks beautifully on a leash, knows her basic commands like Sit and Down, and with her sharp mind and eagerness to please, she’s more than capable of learning anything you want to teach her! Always up for adventure, Ramona is happiest when she’s active. Whether it’s hiking through the woods, splashing in the water, or hopping in the car for a road trip, she’s ready to go wherever you go. At home, she would love a large, fully fenced yard where she can run freely, chase a ball, or proudly carry around her favorite toys. Ramona has so much love to give—but she wants to give it all to you. She’ll need to be the only furry friend in the home, as she prefers to be the center of your world. With her huge heart and devoted nature, you won’t need anyone else! Despite her many amazing qualities, Ramona has been overlooked time and time again. But we know the right family is out there—one who will see her for the loving, playful, intelligent girl she truly is. Could you be the one Ramona has been waiting so patiently for? Call the Ranch today to learn more or schedule a visit. Ramona’s forever adventure could start with you. Story
Yoki is a classic pocket pittie! He's compact but very muscular, a perfect size for hikes, walks, and outdoor adventures. And with his gorgeous marbled eyes and milk chocolate coat, he's a show-stopper for sure. Like many pitties, Yoki has plenty of energy and craves human interaction. He would not be a great choice for someone who is away most of the day, because he's not happy spending most of his time alone. But give him regular exercise, playtime, and sufficient companionship and this handsome fellow will make a wonderful family dog. He is a bit shy when first meeting new folks but he warms up very quickly and then he's happy to lean into you for cuddles and pets. He's an anxious boy who needs confident, kind leadership and plenty of reassurance. Come on down to the Ranch to meet Mr. Yoki today! We ask for a $300 donation for all of our adult dogs. All of our adult dogs are neutered/spayed, microchipped, have had their Rabies, Parvo(5-way), and Bordetella vaccines. Story
Meet Witasue (but his friends call him Louie)! Louie is ready to be your new hiking partner, walking buddy, and loyal best friend! He loves spending time with his people, whether it's exploring the outdoors, going for neighborhood walks, or simply enjoying quality time together. After an adventure, he's more than happy to curl up for one of his many well-earned naps throughout the day. When he's awake, Louie loves a good game of tug and enjoys the challenge of puzzle toys—especially when treats are involved! He's a smart, engaging dog who thrives when both his body and mind stay active. Louie has excelled in basic training and beyond. He walks beautifully on a leash, is attentive, eager to please, and loves learning new things. He's looking for a family that will continue building on his training and include him in life's adventures. Louie would do best as the only pet in an adult home or one without small children, where he can soak up all the love, attention, and companionship he deserves. If you're looking for a loyal companion who's equally excited for mountain trails, neighborhood strolls, and cozy afternoons on the couch, Louie is ready to be your perfect adventure partner! Story
Meet Parker! Parker is a goofy, sweet-natured pup who seems like a curious little boy turned into a dog—wide-eyed, playful, and full of heart. He’s always ready for an adventure… even if he’s a little nervous about it at first! While he’s still working on building his confidence, Parker shows more bravery every day and is eager to experience life outside the shelter. Parker came to us from a hoarding situation, so the big wide world is still a bit overwhelming for him—but he wants to explore it. He just needs a patient and understanding home where he can take things at his own pace. ✨ Why Parker might be perfect for you: He's playful and silly in the best way He learns from other dogs and would thrive in a home with a confident canine buddy He’s curious and willing to try new things (with some encouragement!) He’s looking for gentle guidance from a person who will help him blossom Parker finds a lot of comfort and confidence in the company of other dogs, and he'd do best in a home where he has a calm, social pup to show him the ropes. With the right support system—two-legged and four-legged—Parker is going to shine. Could Parker be your next adventure buddy? Call the Ranch to meet him today!
