Story
Meet Jaxx! If you’re an active person or family looking for a loyal sidekick to join you on all of life’s adventures, Jaxx may be your perfect match. Found as a stray in TN, Jaxx is an approximately 3-year-old male who absolutely loves being with his people. He’s the definition of a velcro dog—always ready for a hike, road trip, walk around the neighborhood, or simply hanging out by your side. He is incredibly intelligent, eager to learn, and thrives when given both physical exercise and mental enrichment. Jaxx has lived successfully with cats, dogs of all ages and sizes, and older children in his foster home. He is social, affectionate, and loves being part of the action. Because he is such a smart and active dog, he does best with a family that will continue to engage his mind and keep him included in daily activities. This handsome boy is the total package—he’s house-trained, crate-trained, and walks beautifully on a leash. He’s also an excellent travel companion who rides well in the car, making him ready for everything from daily errands to exciting new adventures with his forever family. One of Jaxx’s greatest qualities is his extensive professional training. His adopter will benefit from the time, dedication, and investment that have already been poured into making him an exceptional companion. He knows his manners, loves to learn, and is ready to become someone’s very best friend. If you’re looking for a devoted, intelligent, adventure-loving companion, Jaxx is waiting to meet you.Name: JaxxBreed: American Staffordshire Terrier/Crossbreed   (Breed mix is not guaranteed-no DNA testing done).Sex: MaleAge: 3 years  (estimated)Weight: 65.0Spayed/Neutered: YesVaccinations: Up to dateHeartworm: Positive, but he has completed treatment!!!            Microchipped: YesBASED ON OUR OBSERVATIONS:Good with Children: Over 5Good with Dogs: YesGood with Cats: YesAdoption Fee: $550.00  (includes transport fee when applicable)                       $100-150 additional mandatory quarantine fee for Massachusetts residents.Location of dog currently:    Tennessee  IMPORTANT INFORMATION - Paws New England is a foster-based rescue; our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south & New England.  Adoption donations cover pre-adoption veterinary costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age-appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England, if necessary.Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse, whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. Story
Meet Moon Pie, a tiny bundle of joy with a heart as sweet as her name. This adorable little pup came from a neglectful situation, but you’d never know it by her happy spirit and playful personality. Now safe in a loving southern foster home, Moon Pie is soaking up all the affection, comfort, and fun that puppyhood should bring.Moon Pie is the kind of puppy who fits beautifully into almost any home. She adores people of all ages, from young children to seniors, and happily greets everyone with her cheerful little personality. She also loves other dogs and would thrive with a playful canine companion to romp around with. Like many pups who may have had to compete for resources early in life, she can be protective around other dogs near her food, but this is easily managed by feeding separately. She has no issues with people handling her food and responds well to guidance. This little girl iis doing wonderfully with crate training and settles nicely in her crate, though housetraining is still a work in progress as she learns the ropes of indoor living. She also took her first car ride like a champ, riding calmly and confidently. One thing that makes Moon Pie especially unique is her petite size. She is much smaller than her siblings and has short little legs that bow slightly, possibly due to dwarfism, though she is still very young and growing. Moon Pie is looking for a forever family willing to give her the love, patience, and puppy training every young dog deserves. In return, she’ll fill your days with laughter, companionship, and endless sweetness.Name: Moon PieBreed: American Staffordshire Terrier/Crossbreed   (Breed Mix is not guarantee - no DNA testing has been done)Sex: FemaleAge: 4 months as of 5/25/26Weight: 17 lbs as of 5/25/26Spayed/Neutered: Too young - Spay/Neuter Contract will be required and strictly enforced.Vaccinations: Puppy vaccines will be up to date. We can provide adopters with a list of low-cost SN clinics when requested. The adoption fee also includes the transport fee when applicableATTENTION PUPPY ADOPTERS:  You must attend training/behavior classes with your new dog unless you are an experienced dog owner and your adoption coordinator is comfortable with your experience.  This requirement is for your benefit and your puppy's, so if you experience behavioral issues, you have a point of contact.  PLEASE—Think long and hard before adopting a puppy. Consider the lifestyle change this puppy will come with. He cannot be crated for more than 3-4 hours until he's older. Puppy-proofing your home will be necessary. Puppies scratch and nip, so if you have small children, can they handle this? Training will be so crucial in this puppy's life. Do you have the time?IMPORTANT INFORMATION - Paws New England is a foster-based rescue. Story
Meet Zoey! 🐾 Zoey is a sweet, affectionate, and spirited girl who loves with her whole heart. Once she feels comfortable, her personality truly shines! Her tail wags nonstop, her eyes light up, and her goofy, playful side comes out in full force. She’s the kind of dog who will keep you smiling with her silly moments and happily soak up all the love you have to give. Zoey can be a little shy at first when meeting new people or exploring new places, but she warms up with a bit of time, patience, and a gentle approach. Once you’re in her circle, she forms a deep, loyal bond and loves being close to her people. She has a moderate to low energy level, making her a great match for a home that enjoys a nice balance of relaxation and light activity. Zoey has done well with other dogs who have a compatible energy level, and she may do well with respectful children. We don’t have any history of her living with cats at this time. Zoey would thrive with an adopter who is willing to go at her pace and help her continue to build confidence. In return, she’ll give you a truly special connection filled with love, trust, and plenty of joyful, goofy moments. Apply to adopt Zoey today, or email dogs@rispca.org with any questions! 🐶
