Story
Meet Laney — Your New Bestie With the Perfect Vibe!Looking for a dog who’s the perfect balance of chill and playful? Laney’s your girl. She’s an easy-going sweetheart who sprinkles in just the right amount of puppy energy—nothing a good walk or a fun playdate can’t handle.Laney is obsessed with other dogs (in the best way!) and would absolutely thrive with a canine sibling. Zoomies, wrestling, goofy play bows… she’s here for all of it. Cats? She’s a little too interested, so a dog-only home is probably her ideal match. With people, Laney is pure sunshine. She loves everyone she meets and follows her humans like the loyal little shadow she is. Bonus: she’s fully potty trained, crate trained, and sleeps like an angel through the night. If you’re looking for a lovable, social, low-maintenance pup who brings joy wherever she goes, Laney is ready to brighten your life.Name: LaneyBreed: American Staffordshire TerrierSex: FemaleAge: 6 monthsWeight: 32lbsSpayed/Neutered: YesVaccinations: Puppy vaccines will be up to date. All vaccinations required after adoption are the responsibility of the adopter.Heartworm: Negative at most recent testing.Housetrained:  yes Microchipped: YesLocation of dog currently:   New England arriving 12/5     Puppy Adoption Fee:  $500.00The adoption fee also includes the transport fee when applicableATTENTION PUPPY ADOPTERS:  You must attend training/behavior classes with your new dog unless you are an experienced dog owner and your adoption coordinator is comfortable with your experience.  This requirement is for the benefit of you and your puppy, so if you experience behavior issues, you have a point of contact.  PLEASE—Think long and hard before adopting a puppy. Consider the lifestyle change this puppy will come with. He cannot be crated for more than 3-4 hours until he's older. Puppy-proofing your home will be necessary. Puppies scratch and nip, so if you have small children, can they handle this? Training will be so crucial in this puppy's life. Do you have the time?IMPORTANT INFORMATION - Paws New England is a foster-based rescue. Story
We adopted Otis seven years ago from a shelter in New Jersey that brought dogs up from Tennessee so that they wouldn’t be euthanized. He has been a wonderful loving family dog since then. Recently we had an issue where my daughter tried to shoo him away from food and he nipped at her. Due to our concerns because we have two small children we thought it best that he should be rehomed. He has always been a wonderful happy loving dog, but we just can’t take the chance that possibly something could happen so we would like to find a warm loving home for him. Thank you for your time.
