Story
Cody’s journey hasn’t been easy, but he is truly thriving. After an early injury, Cody became a tripod—and it turns out, that was just the beginning of his glow-up. He’s doing wonderfully as a three-legged dog and has proven to be resilient, adaptable, and full of heart. In his foster home, Cody is doing great. He’s settled into a comfortable routine, enjoys exploring at his own pace, and loves soaking up sunny naps. Cody is a thoughtful, curious pup who is slowly and steadily getting more comfortable with new people, showing wonderful progress as his confidence grows. He has also made impressive strides with his training and continues to learn every day. As he feels safe and supported, his silly, sweet personality really shines through. Cody is looking for a patient, loving home that will celebrate his strength and cheer him on as he continues to thrive. If you have a soft spot for tripod dogs—or simply believe in second chances—Cody just might be your perfect match. If you are interested in adopting this dog please complete the adoption application at www.rhodehomerescue.org/adoption-form to become a pre-approved adopter.   If you were already approved through Rhode Home Rescue within the last 6 months, contact us today! Story
Meet Daisy, a confident, joyful young Terrier mix with a sleek black coat and an adorable white streak down her nose that gives her such extra character. Daisy came into rescue after living in an unstable environment, and she’s blossoming now that she’s safe and cared for. She’s playful, curious, and absolutely loves to run, stretch her legs, and explore. She has done wonderfully with every dog she’s met, making her a great candidate for a home with other friendly pups. She is crate trained and progressing with housetraining. only having an occasional accident. As with any precious puppy, she will need continued consistency and patience as she grows. She has only been on a leash a few times so far, but she handled it calmly and without any issues. She has traveled exclusively in a kennel and does very well.If you’re looking for a fun-loving, social, and confident puppy who’s ready to keep up with an active household — and steal your heart along the way — Daisy just might be your girl.Name: DaisyBreed: Staffordshire Terrier/Labrador RetrieverSex: FemaleAge: 21 weeksWeight: 30.0Spayed/Neutered: Too young - Spay/Neuter Contract will be required and strictly enforced.Vaccinations: Puppy vaccines will be up to date.
