My adoption is free thank to Adler Realty!Branch is currently in the Adoption Ambassador foster program. Foster families take dogs into their homes and help them get adopted.Meet Branch, a pup as solid and dependable as his name suggests, with a gentle streak that makes him easy to love. He’s sweet, curious, and always ready to turn a simple stroll into a tiny adventure. Branch has great leash manners, is fully potty trained, and knows how to sit like a pro. He’s a toy lover, a treat enthusiast, and a big fan of playing ball. He’s the kind of companion who’s just as happy roaming downtown, hanging out at coffee shops, or curling up beside you after a fun day out. Friendly, playful, and wonderfully easygoing, Branch is ready to grow roots in a home of his own and bring joy wherever he lands. Interested in Branch?! Ta-Ta For Now spent a couple with a foster and this is what they have to say about her: Ta Ta for Now is perfect, with her versatile “fun size,” for any adopter (not too big or too small, and athletic and fit)! She would be a great for first time pet owners and is super friendly! She walks beautifully on the leash, is eager to please and as sweet as they come! She is an ideal balance of independent girlie and velcro pup, since she loves to engage but also is happy playing alone with her toys! She brings joy wherever she goes, and loves and adventure!.

Story
Meet Ribbon, a tender-hearted girl who’s still learning that the world, and people, can be kind. She’s very scared of humans right now and will need a patient, understanding adopter who’s willing to go slow, invest time in training, and let trust grow at Ribbon’s pace. With consistency and compassion, she has the potential to truly blossom. While people feel overwhelming to her, Ribbon loves other dogs. They bring out her playful, goofy side- sometimes a little obnoxious in the best way- so she’d do best with a confident, tolerant canine friend who can show her the ropes and help her feel safe. Watching her play is where you really see her joy shine. Ribbon isn’t a quick-win dog, but she’s a deeply rewarding one. For the right person, someone with patience, empathy, and a calm home, Ribbon will be your best friend whose progress will feel like a true gift. You can find this sweet girl at Charleston Animal Society in North Charleston!

Story
Meet Maeve, a bright, curious, and affectionate young pup with tons of potential. Maeve has struggled with anxiety in the past, which sometimes led to chew-prone behavior, so she’ll need a patient, committed adopter who’s ready to help her learn confidence and good habits through training. Though she’s a little shy and under-socialized, Maeve is intelligent, eager to please, and ready to grow in a loving, structured home. She enjoys quiet moments of affection but also values her independence, making her a thoughtful and rewarding companion for someone willing to invest time and patience. With the right guidance, Maeve has the heart and smarts to blossom into an incredible friend. You can find this pretty girl at Charleston Animal Society on Remount Road in North Charleston!

Story
Lilly is one of the sweetest, laid back cuddly dogs you could meet. She is for someone who is down for SHORT walks where she can sniff everything and then home to some cuddles and treats. She absolutely loves other dogs and is very vocal when she plays but hasn’t expressed any aggression towards other dogs. She has been around cats a few times and as long as you tell her to leave it she won’t bother them! Lilly can not be around babies/young children as she does not do good with them and becomes very very stressed and nervous.

🧡🍂 A Thanksgiving Family We’re So Grateful For 🍂🧡 This Thanksgiving, we’re giving extra thanks for a brave mama named Cindy and her sweet little family. When Cindy arrived at our rural shelter partner, she was so terrified she couldn’t even walk — staff had to carry her outside because she was too scared to move. But even through that fear, she never left her babies’ side. 💛🐾 Today, thanks to an incredible foster, this shy, gentle girl is finally learning she’s safe. Her puppies — now 4/5 weeks old — are healthy, social, playful, and will be ready for forever homes in just a few short weeks. Cindy will begin heartworm treatment and be ready for adoption soon after. Most of all, we want to say how thankful we are for our fosters, volunteers, supporters, and adopters — the people who make rescues like this possible. This family along hundreds of other pups and families just like this have been saved thanks to our amazing fosters, volunteers, and supporters. We are so thankful to be a part of such an incredible community because without each and every person this couldn’t be possible! 🧡✨ Happy Thanksgiving from Cindy and her babies — we’re so grateful for our rescue family. #adopt #adoptdontshop❤️ #adoptme #rescue #rescuepuppiesofinstagram #rescuedog #rescuedoglove #foster #fosteringsaveslives❤️🐶 #dustytailsanimalrescue #dustytails #charleston #charlestonsc

Story
✨ Meet Lucky! ✨ This handsome 3-year-old boy is fully vetted, neutered, and heartworm negative! 🐾 While we don’t know much about his past, we do know he deserves the very best future 💛 Lucky was surrendered by his previous owner and can be a bit selective, but with the right guidance he’s going to shine! He’s heading to a board & train program this December to work on some training and set him up for lifelong success. We’re aiming to raise $2,000 to cover his training so Lucky can finally find the loving forever home he’s been waiting for! Every dollar helps us make that possible. 🐶💙 👉 Donate, share, or spread the word to help Lucky get the fresh start he deserves! Apply foster or adopt at: https://dustytailsanimalrescue.org/...
