Story
Klaus is a handsome, blocky-headed heartthrob who’s equal parts muscle and marshmallow. This big ol' baby loves belly rubs, soft beds, and soaking up all the affection he can get. He's goofy, loyal, and looking for someone who understands the bully breed charm.Klaus prefers the company of female dogs and would thrive in a calm, kid-free home. He’s strong and still learning his manners, so an experienced adopter who can continue his training and provide clear structure is a must. A secure fence is also required—this boy likes to explore! He’s neutered, vaccinated, and ready to bond with someone who sees just how special he is.If you’ve got bully breed experience and a soft spot for big babies, Klaus might be your perfect match. Apply to meet him today!

Story
Meet Trey! The perfectly pocket sized pittie whose only flaw is his inability to keep his tongue in his mouth. Don’t let Trey’s age fool you, this guy has plenty of energy and is ready to run straight into your heart. Trey is an adventurous, curious guy who’s also down to curl up on the couch for a nap. Trey loves every person and every dog he’s ever encountered and would appreciate being a part of a pack, especially of larger dogs he can chase around a yard and cuddle puddle with. He knows no strangers and his love knows no bounds. Trey has been through a lot over the years. In his original intake at FOR he was suffering from gunshot wounds and 2 broken legs. And yet, after that and his family relocating, he is still so trusting and gentle. You may see evidence of his hard past in the way he flinches when he doesn’t see your hand coming, but his healing is evident in how quickly he melts into the pets afterwards. Trey knows basic commands and is fully housetrained. He is around 60 lbs and believed to be around 9 years old. He is fully vaccinated, on monthly flea & tick prevention, and recently underwent treatment for heartworms. He is fostered in Huntsville, AL, and is available for meet & greets there, if adopted from outside the area his foster has agreed to travel up to 200 miles for transport at no charge to the adopter. Trey has not been tested with cats, and will only be placed in a home with adults and older children (no babies or toddlers).

Story
Meet Scooby Doo — a four-year-old pitty mixWhen Scooby Doo came to us, he wasn’t just thin. He was severely emaciated, weak, and heartbreakingly shut down — the kind of condition that only happens when a dog is left to suffer for a very long time. The sheriff’s department brought him to us, and our staff was devastated by what we saw. His crate had been his whole world, and that world was neglect and hunger. But Scooby Doo didn’t give up.And neither did we.In just one month, with steady meals, love, and patience, Scooby has nearly doubled his weight. His eyes are brighter. His tail (which had to be amputated due to an old “happy tail” injury that was never treated properly) now wiggles with joy — and trust. The difference is almost unbelievable.Scooby Doo has learned that food is promised, not fought for. However, because of his history of starvation, he will need to be fed separately — not because he’s ever shown aggression, but because trauma leaves its mark, even when healing is underway. We want to set him up for success in a home that understands that slow trust is still trust. He is:• Good with cats• Seems to be good with other dogs (meet & greet recommended)• Learning how to play• LOVING hikes, sunshine, and squeaky toys• Obsessed with stuffed Kongs and slow chews (thank you to everyone who donated!)Scooby Doo is goofy, gentle, and so incredibly loving. He just needed someone to show him how to be a dog again — how to feel safe, full, and cherished. He didn’t get out of his old life by luck — he got out because he was meant to have a new one. Now, he’s waiting for the family who will love him not because they pity him, but because they see him — his resilience, his softness, his spark.Scooby Doo has been to the darkest places no animal should ever go.But his future? It’s bright!✨Puppies 6 months and under are typically $200 and dogs from 7 months to 6 years are typically $100.00. Story
Piper was a stray that we took into our home in april. It was apparent that she had recently had a litter of puppies so we were getting her on the list to be spayed. However we determined that she was pregnant before we could get her spayed. She delivered a litter of puppies in june. She has since been spayed and is up to date on shots. We have several dogs in our home and she gets along great with them. She doesn't really bother our cats too much but she does want to play with them. She is great with children of all ages as she hasn't been exposed to my grandchildren. The only time she barks is when the neighbor's dog is outside barking as well. This sweet girl needs a home all of her own. She would be great with another dog but right now we just have too many dogs in our home to give her the proper amount of time and attention that she deserves.
