Story
Georgie was dropped at a hotel in GA and was found by hotel personnel. We’ve been fostering him and have really loved him but we have two cats and he’s not so great with cats. He does well with our other dogs and has done well with all people, kids, etc. He is medium energy and definitely a puppy needing some structure and loves human attention. He is crate trained and would be a great addition to a family willing to love him as their own! Happy to answer any questions or do a meet n greet if interested. (xxx) xxx-xxxx call/text

Story
This sweet angel is Maxwell. In his seven years of life he has never known what a stable home environment was like and seems to be so appreciative of a soft, cozy bed to lay on. Despite having a rough upbringing and having heavy hands laid on him, he still has so much love to offer to anyone that will take it. He just wants to be held and loved like the little 80 pound baby he is.

Story
Huxner is just a big hunk of a softy. He's new here, so we are still learning abut him. So far we have learned that he is an absolute baby and wants to be treated as such. Update: Huxner has been with us for a couple days now and has some things to say. "Hello there, I'm Huxner! I've got a heart full of sweetness and a spirit that's calm as a summer's day. My mom here say I'm a big baby, and I think that's just fine. I love nothing more than a good cuddle and a friendly face to share it with. I'm mellow and gentle, never one for too much fuss or bother. I'm just a simple dog with a whole lot of love to give. I promise to be the most loyal, loving companion you could ever wish for. I'll be your best friend, your confidant, your cuddle buddy. All I need is a chance to show you just how special I can be."

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Smokey is an affectionate, fun fellow who loves to cuddle, play ball, watch TV, and take walks. He's great with kids and other animals, and he's fully house trained, and crate trained. He would be very excited to meet his forever family! His adoption fee is $200.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Interested in this animal? The first step is an application, which can be completed at www.cvrrescue.org/adoption-applications/. The adoption fee helps cover a portion of the care provided for our animals, including spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm testing for dogs, FeLV/FIV combo testing for cats, deworming, age-appropriate vaccines (including rabies vaccine), and any medical care received while in our care. All cats and dogs are on flea/tick and parasite prevention for the duration of foster care. Notes about puppies: Adopters can expect a new puppy to have accidents, chew things they shouldn't, and have other normal, energetic puppy issues until they are trained, including jumping, mouthing, and general youthful naughtiness. If you experience puppy issues, please feel free to contact us; we’re happy to offer guidance. Also, if a puppy is a mixed breed, we cannot guarantee an adult weight. If your residence has weight restrictions or if you’re looking for a specific adult weight, we don't recommend applying for a mixed-breed puppy. We also offer rehoming services for pets currently owned by individuals. In these cases, we list the animal as a courtesy to the owner, and the animal is not currently in the care of CVRR, such that we can make no representation or guarantee of the animal’s behavior, demeanor, or health assessment. All information listed for a courtesy-posted animal is provided by the current owner and should be verified by any potential adopter. CVRR is a nonprofit organization. We have no paid staff, and all applications are reviewed and processed by our volunteers. Please be patient and understand that it may take 7-14 days to process your application, check your references, and gather follow-up info. You can expedite the process by providing accurate phone numbers and email addresses for your vet and landlord references, and by answering each question fully. Once your application is approved, we will schedule a meet-and-greet to see if the animal picks you, too. If it seems the adoption will be a good match for all, we will collect the adoption fee and complete the adoption contract. CVRR is a NO KILL rescue organization, and we have a LIFETIME COMMITMENT to all of our animals. If for any reason the adoption does not work out, the animal must be returned to CVRR. We will reevaluate the animal and choose a new home based on the best fit for it. May 3, 2025, 9:30 pm

Story
Ollie is a young, active boy who loves to run around with other dogs. He enjoys attention from people. He gets along great with kids too. He would love an active family where ample exercise and mental stimulation will be provided. He wouldn't mind cleaning the floor under a highchair as his full-time job. He is unsure of what to do on a leash which would come with practice. He wants to please and is a good listener and a very sweet boy.FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN.
