Meet Beezy…Look at this cutie!&#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Beezy was rescued along with his mom and eight siblings, who were born at a shelter in Charlotte and taken in by one of our partner rescues. This wonderful group, which we work with regularly, vets moms and their babies before sending them up north to find loving homes. Beezy was the smallest of his siblings, and when it was time for the litter to get their vaccinations, he was still too tiny and had to be held back, missing his transport. They asked if we could take him in, and honestly, who could resist that gorgeous boy with the rich chocolate coat and striking blue eyes? Beezy is now about 14 weeks old and is settling into his local foster home. His mom was a pittie mix, but he’s clearly mixed with a smaller breed. At only 10-12 lbs, he was half the size of his siblings. A typical pittie pup that will ultimately be 50–60 lbs would likely be over 10 lbs by this age. He’s perfectly healthy, just petite, and we suspect he may have a different father from the rest of his pack. FUN FACT: Dogs from the same litter can have different fathers; it’s actually fairly common. If a female mates with more than one male during her fertile period, different males can fertilize different eggs. This means pups from the same litter can have different dads. What we know for sure about Beezy is that he’s sweet with his humans. He enjoys playtime outdoors and loves curling up in your lap for snuggles. We've also learned he's a spirited pup. He's at that stage of development where he needs rules and boundaries. He’s very smart and trainable. He's crate-trained, mostly housetrained, and will let his foster mom know when he needs to go out. He needs work on his leash skills and basic obedience, and a commitment to his doggy social skills. One moment, he's relaxing sunbathing in front of a window. The next he's playing with his toys hyping himself up. Trunks is a energetic and overly friendly dog. I loves cuddles, back rubs, and running around outside. Trunks has been fairly good around other pets. He's not aggressive, or dangerous. Depending on the size of the dog, also depends on how he'll interact along with them. He's spent nearly a year with a small chihuahua, and a few weeks with a pit, a little bigger than him. He's spent small amount of time with small kids; however, he's never been aggressive with them. May need small interactions with them. A home with a nice yard would be perfect, but he'll thrive in a normal apartment as well. Trunks has basic training. He's house and crate trained, and knows sit and to stay out the kitchen. He knows not to jump on beds, despite his attempts as I'm laying down. While on the leash, he does pull. I haven't taken the time to fully leash training him.

His owner passed away so he is kind of lost right now hoping that he finds a new home with caring loving people as soon as possible. Zeus was housebroken but could use a refresher course as his owner was very sick before passing away and was unable to take him outside for his potty breaks at times. This sweet girl is one of many dogs who's fate it was to be abandoned here in the south. People are throwing sweet dogs out day and night in this economy. Ducky is one of the lucky ones that was picked up by a kind stranger and brought to a rescue that was able to find a foster! She is Spayed and UTD on required vaccines. Ducky likes other dogs but is rambunctious. She loves everyone she meets so older children would be fine. She is close to housetrained and will just need to get comfortable with her new routine.
