This goofy, playful pup is looking for his forever home! He is in need of a home with no other animals. He loves to be outside playing in the yard. His favorite things are car rides, squeeky toys and baths! We're unsure but he probably would love a good swim as well! He will be fine being left home alone while his people are at work. He has lived with children over 10 years old and did wonderful. Fenced in yard required. Adopters must live in Western Washington state. He is your classic goofy Pittie with soooo much love to give! Will you give him a chance??

Story
I'm Colonel Mustard, the sweetest 3-year-old Staffy mix you'll ever meet! Although I didn't get the scar on my chest from battle, I was stitched up well and my foster family helped aid me on recovery. I spent a little more than 5 weeks living with two new comrades, 3- & 4-year-old children. They helped me get adjusted to civilian life again. I came into the shelter underweight, but I think I filled out quite nicely. I tend to pull on leash when I see other people and pups, but I'm just so excited to make new friends! I am crate trained, I will give you a soft bark if I have to potty, and I love to cuddle on the couch most of the time. I am a great jogging buddy, I do have a signature wiggle dance when I'm excited, and I prefer my toys to be as tough as my tail wags! I prefer to just hang out in the living room with access to the couch or my kennel if I need my own space. If you think we'll make a good team in this battle called life, contact KHS today to meet me!Colonel Mustard is currently enjoying a break from the shelter in a loving foster home! If you would like a chance to meet him, please send your adoption application to adoptions@kitsap-humane.org to schedule a convenient time to meet him! PLEASE DIRECT INQUIRIES ABOUT ADOPTABLE DOGS TO OUR FACEBOOK. WE ARE CURRENTLY UNABLE TO PROCESS APPLICATIONS VIA EMAIL DUE TO LIMITED STAFF. OUR CONTACT IS THROUGH FACEBOOK MESSENGER. https://www.facebook.com/REDRescueEveryDog/ Apollo is a 4 year old Staffordshire terrier lab mix who loves nothing more than to snuggle and love on his human. He is smart, gentle, snuggly, and playful. He is 65lbs. Apollo is up to date on all vaccinations and is neutered. He loves to sunbathe and be outside with his human. He has a hard time trusting males and struggles with change, so he will need a home that is stable (not moving a lot) and the male in the home needs to be there enough to build a relationship with him (not in and out traveling for work). Apollo does have anxiety and will need a lot of help with overcoming this especially with going to the vet and groomer. He has allergies in the fall/winter and eats Zignature kangaroo allergy friendly food. He loves to play with other dogs and has never had an incident while at doggie daycare, but he sometimes plays like a puppy and that can scare some bigger dogs. He’s patient and gentle with kids but would do best in a home with older kids because younger kids make him anxious. He is crate trained, house broken, and does great in his kennel. He is the most lovable guy who needs someone to help him with anxiety in an environment that is stable and calm. This dog requires a fully fenced yard with a visible fence, as well as a sturdy, high quality crate (no wire or soft crates will be accepted. Impact, Ruffland, 4 point contact locking door Skyline, Zinger Winger, etc type crate). We will be considering homes in W. Wa and possibly Oregon, no other out of state adoptions at this time. Adoption donation is $250.00. THIS DOG IS IN FOSTER CARE IN LACEY, WA. MEET AND GREETS WILL TAKE PLACE THERE AS WELL. REQUIREMENTS FOR ADOPTION: - Securely and visibly fenced yard - Sturdy/safe crate, due to the safety hazard wire crates will be not be accepted. Impact, Ruffland, 4 point contact locking door Skyline, Zinger Winger, etc type crate). - Another like sized, playful, kind dog - Western Washington (WA), and possibly Northern Oregon locations at caseworker discretion. No other out of state adoptions at this time. ADOPTION PROCESS: If you are interested in adoption please fill out an application here: http://www.rescueeverydog.org/Adoption.php Answers to the application MUST be sent via message on Facebook (we do not receive applications sent via email) 1. Story
Meet the sweetest and most affectionate sisters, Honey and Tala. These social and loving beauties- Honey, age 9 and Tala, age 6, were adopted a few years ago as bonded sisters. Unfortunately, Honey and Tala’s mom recently passed away, so these two amazing and super friendly dogs are once again looking for their truly forever family. Honey and Tala are super gentle, very friendly and adore people. They will greet you like they do every person-with wagging butts and big smiles! Honey & Tala are the cutest clowns who enjoy life and love being a part of the family. They are anxious to have their new humans around more- and will listen to you and be loyal to you right away. The mid-sized stocky girls have been lacking in the exercise department and are looking forward to renewed walks and fetch-time. The pair is good with children and other dogs, but are content to hang out with each other in their backyard and chill. The girls are house trained and crate trained; but can be trusted to be free in the house all day when their dad is at work. They know their basic commands and are very good on the leash. Honey and Tala are over their puppy stages, so not chewers or diggers; nor are they barkers or jumpers. Honey and Tala have not been around cats.  They are vaccinated and spayed. They currently weigh 45-50lbs but with more exercise and low calorie food should weigh in about 40-45lbs This dynamic little duo is seeking a fun family with lots of love and affection. They are missing their mom and need more activity and more love in their lives. To meet happy Honey and totally cool Tala at their current home in Bonney Lake, email Pam at raincityrescue@gmail.com. These perfect pittie pals need you!  If you are interested in meeting this lovely gentle pair of sisters please email Pam at raincityrescue.com.March 19, 2024, 10:29 am

Story
MEET BUSTER, a 9-year-old Staffie with a heart as big as his personality. He's sweet, friendly and gentle, making him a delightful companion. Buster's smart, too! He's got a knack for learning new tricks and commands, and he loves to show off his skills. Buster's mellow and cuddly nature makes him the perfect snuggle buddy. He's playful and loyal, always ready for a game of fetch or a walk around the block. He loves toys and chewing them to pieces! Despite a fatty lump on his leg and an old injury in the other, Buster remains an active and loving dog. He's a 'Velcro dog', always wanting to be by your side. Buster's previous owners may have neglected him, as he arrived at the shelter flea & tick infested many moons ago, but he's ready for a new chapter in his life. Adopt Buster and give him the love and care he deserves. He'll repay you with unwavering loyalty and endless cuddles. Buster is more than just a pet; he's a friend waiting to happen. He weighs 66 lbs. Please email for an application.
