Story
Echo, a one-year-old Anatolian shepherd and Great Pyrenees mix, weighs over 100 pounds and is expected to grow to about 150 pounds, as his father was a purebred 175-pound Anatolian shepherd. Born on a goat farm, he worked with other livestock guardian dogs until we adopted him. Unfortunately, he had not been guarding our animals, which was the primary reason for our decision to get him. Instead, he prefers to chase them around. Despite his sweet nature, he definitely needs a job. He’s great indoors and in a crate when you cannot supervise him, but if left unattended outside, he will dig up your yard and destroy things. I believe he just needs a companion to play with until he matures out of this puppy phase, but I cannot risk taking on another dog right now to test this theory. He deserves a a loving home and a job he loves.

Story
Pocahontas is a 6 month old Belgian Malinois mix who will instantly win your heart! She is initially soooo shy and unsure when other dogs are barking all around her. But once she gets out of the shelter building and into its park area, she lights up with the most precious smile, clearly thrilled to explore new sights and scents by your side. Pocahontas has a playful spirit that’s both charming and contagious - she finds even the simplest things very interesting, and it’s easy to capture that same joy and curiosity while with her. Overall, Pocahontas has so much love and happiness to give. She’s far too sweet and gentle to spend her days in a shelter when what she really deserves is to be in a loving home, knowing the security and love of her forever family. Give her that, and Pocahontas will be your devoted companion for life.
