Dana is a sweet 10-week-old black mouth cur/anatolian shepherd mix looking for a forever family! She's a playful bundle of energy who loves other dogs and would thrive with a furry sibling to show her the ropes of indoor living. Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies. Puppies - We do not adopt puppies under 16 weeks to out of state adopters. This is due to our spay/neuter policy, and all dogs must be spayed/neutered before leaving Georgia state lines. We do not adopt siblings to the same household. Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption. Lily was pulled from the euthanasia list at a high kill shelter in North Georgia. Her mother and brother were euthanized and she was left alone in a concrete kennel run hiding under her bed. She was just 3 months old when we pulled her and she has grown into the most beautiful and surprisingly confident young Shepherd! We believe Lily is an Anatolian Shepherd mix. She has a wonderful temperament and loves to play with other dogs.

This lovely girl is friendly and affectionate, and she enjoys nothing more than long walks followed by cozy naps on the couch beside her favorite person. Sadie Mae has a very easygoing personality - she's the kind of companion who brings peace and comfort wherever she goes. While she's not a fan of car rides, she makes up for it with her loyal heart and loving nature. Sadie Mae has waited patiently for her forever home, and she's ready to give all her love to someone who will cherish her in return.
