Meet Sadie Mae, a gorgeous 2-year-old Anatolian Shepherd with a huge heart, a loyal soul, and a personality that has made her one of the most loved girls around.
Sadie Mae has been waiting for her forever family since she was a puppy. She’s grown up waiting for someone to finally choose her — and after all this time, we think this beautiful girl deserves exactly the kind of home she’s been dreaming about.
Sadie Mae is incredibly loving and devoted to her people. She’s also a natural protector. She likes knowing where her family is, keeping an eye on the house and property, and making sure everybody — two-legged and four-legged — is safe.
And don’t let her 75 pounds fool you. Sadie Mae has a wonderfully gentle side, especially with other dogs. She does great with dogs both big and small and currently helps watch over the little dogs around her. One of her very best friends is Anastasia, and the two absolutely love playing together.
When she’s off duty from protecting everybody, Sadie Mae loves being outside, playing in the yard and going for long walks. But when the day is over, this big Anatolian has somewhere very specific she wants to be:

For Sadie, being allowed on the furniture and sleeping with her family isn’t something we want her to lose when she’s adopted. We are looking for a home where dogs are truly part of the family — couches, beds, snuggles and all. If your house has a strict “no dogs on the furniture” rule, Sadie Mae won’t be the right match.
She has waited too long for her forever home to finally get one where she isn’t allowed to do the things that make her feel happiest and closest to her people.
Sadie Mae is loving, loyal, playful, dog-friendly and naturally protective. She can spend the afternoon playing with her canine friends, keep an eye on everyone she loves, and then climb into bed at night like the world’s largest teddy bear.
