Story
Welcome Winnie to CCPAL Rescue. Winnie is a 3-month-old pup. We think she is Anatolian Shepherd and Great Pyrenees. She currently weighs 22 pounds and should be 50 pounds is our best estimate. She does not have the extra toe on the back that is typical in Great Pyr pups. She was founds as a stray and pulled from one of the local high-kill pounds. She is already getting her distemper vaccines and has had 2 already. She will be fluffy but she is thinner and not as heavy. She is moderate to low energy pup and would be fine with children. She would be great in the colder climates because she has a nice soft, fluffy coat. She is also lower on the vocal scale. She is good off leash with other dogs and blends nicely. She is good and quiet in her crate and will sleep all night. She is a very nice pup and will be a great addition for a moderately active family. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally. We can also work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 400 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Snickerdoodle - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Oh do we have the puppy cuteness overload going on here!! This adorable lil gal has got almost all the boxes checked!!! Affectionate - check Sweet - check Huggable and Kissable - double that check Playful - check Cute as a button - oh for sure that's a check Pawsome family members - yep, that's a check The family - no check :( ...yet! Snickerdoodle didn't have the best start in life having come from an unwanted litter that lived in just the dirt backyard. She however has been living up to her name, Snickerdoodle. Warm and soft with a little bit, ok, a whole bunch of sweetness. No need to pop this Snickerdoodle in the oven, she comes ready made!! Snickerdoodle is about 5 months old (DOB 6/25) and as with your typical puppy it doesn't take her long to show her true silly personality. A little bit sassy, a little bit sweet and a whole lot of cuddly. She should be about the 50ish lb range when she gets fully grown up. What a great size for well...everything. Big enough for any activities and adventures you might want to go on but small enough to make sure there is lots of room on the couch for you. She wants to make sure she doesn't miss out on ANY her cuddle time! She does great with people and the other foster pups here at the rescue. Snickerdoodle will need lots of exercise and playtime to help keep her puppy shenanigans at a minimal but with that in she should do great in town with a yard, out in the country or anywhere in between. With Snickerdoodle's mixed breed hairytage her short sleek coat won't take much in the grooming department, making her more of a wash-n-go type of gal, which will leave lots of time for the both of you in the 'spoil her rotten' department, her favoritest time, you and her time!!! Sweet and sassy, playful and snuggly, add in that cutest lil face and you've got a fabulous family member just waiting to happen! She just needs YOU to help her get that last box checked!!!

Story
Hello there! I'm Dutch, and I'm on a quest to find my perfect forever home, complete with a new best friend – and I hope that friend is you! It's a mystery to me why no one has scooped me up yet, but I promise I have so much love to give. I'm just the right size, weighing in at a comfortable 40 pounds, and I'm absolutely thriving in my foster home. Playing keep-away with toys and frolicking around with my canine foster siblings is a blast! I'm bursting with energy, like any pup my age, so I'll need plenty of exercise and a patient teacher as I continue to learn and grow. My foster family has been guiding me on the dos and don'ts around the house, helping me understand what's fair game for chewing and what's off-limits. Socks do hold a special allure for me, but I'm working on it – a home with young kids who tend to leave things lying around might not be the best fit for me. I'm making great strides with potty training and haven't had an accident in quite a while, as long as I get my regular outdoor breaks. I'm quite content in my kennel when my foster family is away, and I even sleep through the night without a fuss after tiring myself out with playtime. I'm a social butterfly, and I adore everyone I meet, whether they're human or canine. My happy-go-lucky demeanor has earned me the title of "the happiest dog ever," and I wouldn't harm a fly. While I've never met a cat, I'd be curious about them and probably want to play – no harm intended! I might be a busy boy, but don't let that fool you. I've been diagnosed with a low-grade heart murmur (grade 2 of 6), but I had a positive checkup with a cardiologist who assured me it's unlikely to cause any issues in the future. They also said I could look it up – heart murmurs are no big deal! Still, it's a good idea to keep an eye on it during my yearly wellness exams, just to be sure. I can't wait to continue growing and learning to be the best boy ever in my forever home. If you think we'd make a great team, please fill out an application so we can meet and start our adventure together soon!   ##1749756##
