Story
Oh, hi! I’m Belgian Waffle and I am so excited to tell you a little about me! Do you know where Alabama is? That’s where I was born, but only lived there for a few days. My mom, my siblings and I came to Minnesota where we would be safe. Living with six siblings is a little crazy, so I’m excited to find a family that I can call my own! Here are a few things about me:-If I had to describe myself, I’d say that I’m a “go with the flow” kind of girl.-My favorite thing about myself is my ears!-I’m the perfect companion. Those are just a few things about me. If you came to meet me, I could show you so much more! I’d love for you to come and see for yourself that I could be the perfect dog for you! --------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.Adoption Fee - $575To apply for this pup, please submit an Adoption Application at http://warriordogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application/

Looking for a foster Please CLICK HERE to sign up to foster! Remington is a very playful guy! He loves cuddles and loves chin scratches... did I mention he's a VERY GOOD boy!!!! He barks when he needs your attention; only when he needs your attention or theres other people with you. He is people friendly. I don't know about his standings other animals, like other cats or dogs, but I'm guessing he'll be fine with other animals! He is working on his house and leash training, and can be a little stubborn about getting around on leash. He can be a little shy in new situations.

Story
Hi! My name is Butch and I am from Missouri. From the foster: Meet Butch! I've had him just under two weeks and he was very shut down so we are still getting to know each other, his bio will get updated as he settles in and lets his personality shine. Butch is quite a scared boy who is regularly taking anxiety medication and needs patience and additional training to build his confidence and help him settle in. He is a big hunk of love, weighing in at 88 lbs. As he is less than a year old he may grow more. While he is dog-friendly (I have two resident dogs) slow introductions are a must, we can walk you through what this may look like in your home. Because he came in totally shut down we're not sure what his personality will be once he knows he's safe and secure. He is crate and house trained, calm, sweet and attaches quickly to his person. He would prefer to be near you at all times and enjoys watching sitcoms on the couch together. He's a big fan of stuffed toys and has made a few bids to play with my resident dogs after we did slow and steady introductions. As a puppy he is learning about what is okay to chew (Butch, Destroyer of Stuffies leaves stuffing massacres around the house) and what is not (the corner of tables, rocks, buckles). He has been easily corrected but proactive removal and supervision will be helpful. Stairs are currently pretty intimidating - he's happy to go up but needs encouragement to go down. He does not feel safe outside and wants you or a dog he trusts to accompany him to go potty. It's getting better day by day but he has a ways to go. He loves string cheese and being sung too - especially the Mamma Mia soundtrack. He's pretty respectful of boundaries and gates and has very nice house manners. Butch is not bold but he is loyal. He wants to be loved and a part of the family and after you build initial trust he'll do his best to be brave for you. A few heads up: - He is on anxiety medication - He will drink water too fast if he's nervous and throw it up - He is a flight risk, having a fenced in yard will help immensely. If not, be sure to be intentional about double leashing and having a secure hold. I have not walked him as he is too scared at the moment. He will have training support post adoption from the rescue to help him gain confidence and aid in relationship building with his new family. Butch will make a wonderful addition to your life - he is a big goofy sweetheart looking for a secure and stable home where he can shine.

River is looking for a foster or her forever family! Please CLICK HERE to sign up to foster! Select the "Apply for Adoption" if you would like to adopt Hi! My name is River and I am from Missouri. River is a sweet, but very shy pup. She loves cheddar cheese for treats, and might even be persuaded to take it from your hand. She loves to chew on her Benebone, and maybe any bed or blanket you place in her kennel. She startles at loud noises, so a calm, quieter house would be best for her. She has attempted to peak out to the living room, but startles with my loud resident dogs. She will use a pee pad and will potty outside when she can be persuaded to go outside. She is doing well with being let out around every 3-4 hours. She would need a fenced in yard due to being a flight risk. She is cat friendly and gets along with dogs with a slow introduction. She really is the sweetest girl.
