Hello, I`m Thor! I`m about 4 years old and weigh 133 pounds. ** I`m a volunteer favorite and here`s why:`Thor is the actual definition of a gentle giant. He was SO amazing on leash. Actually the biggest and best dog ever.` `Thor is such a loving, gentle soul. He walks so calmly on leash, never pulling, and waits for direction. Loves pets and cuddles.` ` He is the sweetest dog. Every morning he greats me with a wide smile and wagging tail. Super friendly and loving. Big dog, big heart.` **Do you like...Dogs? I do! Bring any dogs from your home to meet me!Cats? Unknown. Slow and supervised introductions would help set me up for success.Kids? I am a gentle giant but don`t want to accidentally knock anyone over. Children who can understand my size would be a good start. (8+) Bring any children in the home to meet me.Anything else you`d like us to know, Thor? I really enjoy roaming around, so a large fenced back yard would be ideal for me. Also, I`m just a tender fella who loves snuggles and companionship. If you`re looking for a giant love bug, I could be your match.I came into the shelter as a surrender and the above information is all recommendations based on my previous history and the behavior seen at the shelter. Expect to learn more about me after adoption.It is unknown how this animal will do in their new home as all animals can be different with each person. Annie the Anatolian So glad to meet you! I am a gorgeous, floofy young adult girl with big paws & an even bigger heart. I am likely not a purebred Anatolian; I share a lot of characteristics with Great Pyrenees, another big, floofy breed. Both breed are guardians at heart. I am a little shy when I first meet people, but soon warm up, especially with children. I am also shy at first with other dogs, unless they are trying to butt in when you are loving on me! I love to eat. I am crate trained. I’m learning to love being brushed. Cats are ok. Digging random holes in the backyard is a lot of fun. I would love to become part of your family!
