Story
Koda – 2.5-Year-Old Anatolian Mix | Calm, Gentle Soul Looking for a Quiet Home Koda is a 2½-year-old Anatolian mix weighing in at a perfect 50 pounds, and he is the definition of calm and steady. Whether indoors or outside, Koda carries himself with a peaceful, easygoing demeanor that makes him a wonderful companion for someone looking for a relaxed, low-key dog. On leash, Koda truly shines. He walks beautifully and naturally matches your pace, making daily strolls a pleasure rather than a chore. He is fully potty trained and understands the rhythm of home life, settling in comfortably and contentedly once he knows he’s safe. Koda is a true snuggler at heart. He loves being close to his people and enjoys quiet moments spent cuddling or resting nearby. Because of his gentle nature, Koda would do best in a calm household with no small children, where he can enjoy a predictable, peaceful environment and plenty of one-on-one companionship. Cats? No worries! Koda has lived in a home with cats and gets caught on video playing with their toys! When it comes to travel, Koda does get carsick on longer trips, but this is easily managed with Dramamine when needed. For everyday life and local outings, he does just fine and is happy simply being with his person. Koda is currently being fostered in a home in Seguin, Texas, where his calm personality and loving nature continue to shine. If you’re looking for a loyal, gentle companion who enjoys quiet walks, cozy snuggles, and a serene home, Koda may be the perfect match for you. Story
COTTAGE GROVE, OREGON: PET HOME ONLY Please review Bosco's bio before reaching out. Bosco is a 4-year-old neutered male Anatolian Shepherd in need of a new home as a pet. He was originally raised as a livestock guardian and is trustworthy with livestock and poultry. However, he has no interest in guarding animals. Bosco is easy-going and has a very steady temperament. Although he has not lived full-time indoors, he adapts well to indoor environments and clearly desires to be part of a family. Please note that he is not guaranteed to be fully house-trained due to limited indoor living, but he exhibits good house manners when indoors. Bosco is good with children, non-dominant dogs, visitors, and cats when properly introduced. He is not a nuisance barker, only alerting when necessary. If he were to escape from fencing due to boredom or lack of interaction, he would seek people and attention rather than roam or run off. Therefore, he requires a home where he will be included and engaged. Bosco is good on a leash and enjoys going for walks. He is currently being worked with daily on basic commands and is progressing well. However, he will require continued training. He rides okay in vehicles but does not find it enjoyable. Bosco is current on vaccines and microchipped. We are seeking a responsible and committed home for Bosco. An application, references, and phone conversation are required. We prefer in-state adoptions, but out-of-state adoptions will be considered for the right home. Please message for more details about Bosco's temperament, history, and compatibility.

Story
I`m on a field trip! Please call before coming in to meet me!Hello, I`m Mr. Roboto! I`m about 1 year old and weigh 60 pounds. I`m looking for a specific forever home! Once I`ve decided we are friends, I am the sweetest, silliest, most playful guy ever! I do struggle with a bit of stranger danger and am looking for a lower traffic forever home that is excited about working with me on all things confidence building! Come on down to meet me and staff can discuss this with you further.** Here is what a volunteer says about me:`Don`t let what may be a shy or unfriendly first impression fool you. A few words of kindness and a little patience will let Mr. Roboto know you are safe. He will then turn into a bundle of affection. What a sweet dog!` **Do you like...Dogs? I have done well with other dogs. Please bring all dogs in the home to meet!Cats? Unknown. My new family would need to be very dedicated to slow, careful introductions.Kids? I`m looking for a home with older kiddos (teens+) that can help train me so I can be the best boy!I came into the shelter as a stray and the above information is all recommendations based on my behavior seen at the shelter. I have no known history. Expect to learn more about me after adoption. It is unknown how this animal will do in their new home as all animals can be different with each person. It is important to take this into consideration when thinking about adopting and making sure you are prepared to work with any potential medical or behavior issues that occur after adoption. My adoption fee includes my spay/neuter, current vaccinations, permanent microchip identification, certificate for a free veterinary exam, post-adoption support and more!Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me! If you think we would be a good match come on down and ask to meet me! I`m looking for my forever home and it could be with you!ADOPTION INFORMATION: If you live in the city of Eugene or in Lane County you will be purchasing a dog license in addition to the adoption fee. You will get to choose between a one year, two year, or three year license. This pet is located at Greenhill Humane Society. 88530 Greenhill Road Eugene, OR 97402 (541) 689-1503. See all of the pets at this shelter by visiting www.green-hill.org.
