Story
Boog is a 1 year old mixed breed puppy. His DNA test shows that he is mainly an Anatolian Sheppard, Siberian Husky, Border Collie, and German Sheppard. He is a very happy and goofy dog that never fails to put a smile on your face. He is high energy and loves to run around and play, but is also a big cuddle bug who can often forget he’s not a lap dog. He is about 85 pounds and shouldn’t grow too much more if at all. He also has all his shots and was neutered in December of 2023. He is 100% potty and crate trained but he does whine when he’s anxious. He is a great boy who we wish could continue to be apart of our family but circumstances just haven’t worked out. We know he will be a great addition and joy to a new loving family who can provide the stability he deserves. Quick Notes: ⁃ Male ⁃ Born 05/13/23 (1 year old) ⁃ Weight: 85 lbs ⁃ Anatolian and German Sheppard, Border Collie, and Siberian Husky ⁃ All shots ✔️ ⁃ Neutered

Story
Meet Sadie, a sweet and gentle 2-year-old female Shephard mix with a heart full of love. Abandoned by her owners on the side of a busy road, Sadie was rescued by the local shelter before we stepped in to save her. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and has a calm, loving nature that makes her an ideal companion. Sadie will need a forever home with lots of love and patience as she is very skittish to sounds and lots of movement (she often run and hides).Sadie is now looking for her forever home where she can share her boundless affection and loyalty. She can be transported out of Texas for a fee of $230. Don’t miss the chance to welcome this amazing girl into your life—Sadie truly deserves a loving family to call her own.Fill out our adoption application and bring Sadie home today! https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=ch2817&method=online_form_html&formid=41Disclaimer: I am located in Texas. I can be transported once adopted. Transport fee is $230.*Disclaimer: This pet is located in Texas. Once adoption is finalized the pet will be transported to the adopters location for an additional fee (currently $230-$250).* The adoption fee helps to cover some of the cost of vetting the animal prior to adoption (spay/neuter, microchipping, and up to date vaccinations). Please fill out an adoption application to be considered for adoption. https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=ch2817&method=online_form_html&formid=41

Story
Video: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/ooyT8AY34jU Henry is a 7 month old boy who was dumped at a rural lake in Oklahoma to fend for himself. He was picked up by animal control and take to the humane society. You would think that he would be safe now but sadly the evil city council in the small town just voted to dissolve the no kill humane society and turn it back into a kill shelter. The humane society has until July 1 to move their dogs and cats. After that they will be euthanized. So our rescue is trying to help them get as many out as possible. We have transports available to all of the locations below. He is great with other dogs and loves everyone he meets. They say he is a gentle giant. He is neutered, heartworm tested (negative), has had his rabies and I will make sure he gets microchipped and dhpp and bordetella vaccines as well if he hasn't had them. Transport costs $250 to all locations so his adoption fee would be that plus $50 for his travel health certificate. Transport locations: - Washington State (Kennewick, Lynnwood/Edmonds, Seattle/Tacoma) - Oregon (Portland and Springfield) - Colorado (Ft Lupton) - Idaho (Heyburn and Boise/Meridian) - Utah (Ogden) - Wyoming (Evanston, Rock Springs, Laramie) - Illinois (Vandalia) - Indiana (Spiceland) - Ohio (Columbus) - Pennsylvania (Pittsburgh and Harrisburg) - New York (Buffalo and Albany) - Connecticut (Enfield) Adoption application: https://form.jotform.com/82677586784176

Story
Meet Vito, the canine Casanova of charm, the dashing puppy with a striking coat and huge brown puppy eyes that make everyone fall in love with him.  Born in March 2024, this adorable boy has a way of looking up at you like you're his best friend on earth, and his sweet, innocent smile is a surefire way to brighten even the gloomiest day. Vito’s superpower? Making you smile whenever you lay eyes on him. His charm is impossible to resist, and his playful demeanor and loving gaze will have you wrapped around his paw in no time. So, if you’re looking for a four-legged friend who’s a walking, tail-wagging testament to the power of a smile, Vito’s your boy. Get ready to have your days filled with fun, cuteness, and the best puppy eyes you’ve ever seen! Vito will need obedience training as he gets older and more mature. There is a lot for a puppy to learn and like all small puppies, he will need someone who can be home with him a lot and provide him with love, patience and boundaries to help him become a loyal companion. He loves the companionship of other animals and requires another dog in the home to act as his mentor as he continues to understand the rules of his new world. ADOPT HERE: Complete an Adoption Application for your Pyr-fect new family companion at https://gprs.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=6206. PUPPIES ARE ONLY PLACED IN HOMES WITH YOUTHFUL, PLAYFUL RESIDENT DOGS WHO ARE AT LEAST 50 POUNDS. Our requirements for puppy adoptions are simple and necessary. Our puppies are not livestock guardians, they are family pets that live inside of the family home. Puppies must be placed in homes with a youthful, adult resident dog of similar size. This gives the puppy a mentor and a solid foundation for becoming part of the family. Puppies are only adopted to homes with someone at home at least part of the day. If no one is home for 6-8 hours at a time, please do not apply. Preference is always given to those with Great Pyrenees experience. Applicants must have secure, visible fencing and a socialization plan in place. The fastest way to be considered for a puppy is to fill out an application. Adoption is not first come, first served. GPRS and its fosters work diligently to find the right fit for each and every unique dog and puppy. Applicant’s personal pets must be current on vaccines & heartworm/flea prevention and be altered. Adoption fee: $450 (Adoption fee includes spay or neuter, distemper/parvo vaccines, flea preventative, deworming, and health certificate for travel). Adopters pay the cost of transport services outside of Texas area. Transport costs depend on location and company used. Northeast transport fee is $200. The Northwest and Midwest transport fees range from $225-$350, The Southeast transport fees range from $250-$350. GPRS has proudly placed thousands of Great Pyrenees and GP mixes in the PNW for over a decade. Our volunteers have over 100 years combined experience fostering, screening, and placing this majestic breed into loving, forever homes. When adopting from us, you can rest assured that we provide life-long support and advice when it comes to your new family member. As always, our purpose is to find the best match for every unique dog that comes through our doors. Taking the time to find the right fit comes first and foremost at the Great Pyrenees Rescue Society. If you are interested in adopting, please take the time, and apply. You will see firsthand how much care, attention and love goes into the process, when you are guided a personal screener. This is why we have people come back again and again for their next family member! See all our dogs, fill out an application and discover why we are the BEST at placing the right dog in the right home! https://gprs.rescuegroups.org/. ADOPTION, FOSTERING, AND DONATIONS are just some of the ways you can help a rescued dog. We have worked hard to cultivate a large network of volunteers to save this majestic breed. While monetary donations are always much appreciated, you can also help by donating your time as a GPRS foster or volunteer. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We provide weekly socialization programs for our dogs through playgroups and group leash training classes available to all dogs in our adoption program, and Doggy Sleepover, Doggy Day Out, and Ambassador programs for our boarding dogs. There is a professional dog trainer on staff to provide support for our fosters and dogs, and an off-site dog trainer for dogs that need more extensive behavior modification. This helps us learn deeply about every dog, prepare them for adoption, and ultimately match them with loving families. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $62 surcharge for transport.
