Story
Hi, I'm Rose! What in carnation? How's an adorable puppy like me unable to find adopters? I'm cute, patient, sweet, and well-behaved. My momma taught us how to be polite, gentle and kind just like she is! Roses can be many things; like vibrant and energetic or still and calm ... I'm a puppy so I'll be a mixed bag of things for now. Some basic information about Rose; she is 3-months old, female, Anatolian Shepherd mix, and is expected to be large-sized (60-99lbs) when fully grown. Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $500 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Story
Don’t let Freddie’s large 70 pound stature fool you. Every ounce of Freddie is oozing with love. You’ll frequently find this goofball with his tongue out being silly. This sweet boy is just looking for a person to love him. He adores belly rubs, getting brushed, car rides and his best friend in foster, a dog named Pumpkin. He likes to play catch and take long walks. He is so incredibly smart. He quickly picks up on training. He loves playing outside in the yard and watching the activity in the neighborhood. The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is one of the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone! Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no choice but to euthanize animals for space. We prepare them for adoption by properly vetting and providing individualized care through our incredible behavior program that consists of socialization and leash training for all animals that enter our adoption program prior to matching them with loving families who will treasure them for the rest of their lives. They are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts once adopted, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! Three Little Pitties Rescue will soon be celebrating our 5 year anniversary! Over the course of this time, we have been very fortunate for so much growth, allowing us to further connect with the community and save many lives. Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 10,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be brought into our rescue program. Together, we can be heroes. Follow along on our rescue journeys through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $42 surcharge.

Story
Nelson and his brother Willie showed up as strays or were dumped at someone's house in the country. The lady had to feed them in secret because her husband didn't allow it and didn't want them to stick around. They live by a highway and the lady was worried that they would get hit by a car. So she reached out to rescues and now these babies are with us. Nelson is absolutely adorable and the more 'needy' one out of the pair. He just wants to be with me all the time and wants to cuddle and get petted. He walks right next to me wherever I go. He is submissive with other dogs but likes to play and loves chew toys. He is also great around the cats, including kittens. He will be a gentle, loving, big boy when he grows up and will make a great family pet or cuddle buddy. He is currently still in Oklahoma but can only be adopted in WA state or Oregon where people treat animals well, unlike here. He has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport in either Tukwila, Tacoma, or Portland. If things don't work out for whatever reason (rarely happens, we have very few 'returns'), a local foster will be found to take him in and you will get a refund (refund if you let us know within 2 weeks of arrival). Vetting: neutered, microchipped, rabies vaccine, dhpp vaccine (minimum 2 rounds), bordetella vaccine, lepto vaccine x 2, fecal test, dewormed, on monthly flea and tick prevention, on monthly heartworm prevention. Adoption fee: $500 (includes the $230 cost of transport to the PNW) Adoption application: https://form.jotform.com/82677586784176 www.facebook.com/desideratarescue Desiderata Rescue is Oklahoma Licensed Rescue #95

The lady had to feed them in secret because her husband didn't allow it and didn't want them to stick around. They live by a highway and the lady was worried that they would get hit by a car. So she reached out to rescues and now these babies are with us. Willie is the smaller one of the brothers but also the more spunky and adventurous and brave one. When I first brought them to the rescue and they met some of the big adult dogs, Willie fiercely 'protected' his brother from what he perceived as a threat (there was never any danger, all the dogs are friendly). He stood his ground and the big dogs backed off and gave them space to settle in. It only took him about two hours to realize there was no danger and that's when his curious side came out. He started exploring and before I knew it, he was running around playing, splashing around in the water and just being a silly puppy. He likes being petted but is definitely more independent than his brother. He would do great with an older dog that is still playful but can teach him the ropes. He is very smart and learns very quickly. He is great around cats too. He is currently still in Oklahoma but can only be adopted in WA state or Oregon where people treat animals well, unlike here. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Bruhno Bruhno is still a work in progress.  Bruhno is a very shy English Mastiff.  He is learning to walk on a leash and ride in cars. Bruhno is good with other dogs and was raised with children.  It will be a while before we feel he is ready for adoption. His future "furever" family will need to be prepared for the long haul. Bruhno is terrified of new situations.  His main and immediate response is to immediately empty his bladder  Any adopters will have to be prepared for this.  He is house trained; this is a fear response. If you are interested in Bruhno or any of our fosters, please go to our website at www.mastiffrescueoregon.org, click on adoption info, and submit an application online. An application is required for any meet and greet. All of our fosters are in private homes.  Please be courteous, and do not call prior to 8:00am or after 8:00pm  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 27, 2023, 7:39 pm
