Story
I got my sweet Duke shortly before my lab passed away 3 1/2 years ago. Duke came from a friend of mine who is a breeder. It was never my plan to get a dog from a breeder, I would rather rescue. But Duke was the last one of his litter and he was too adorable to pass up! He was extremely easy to train, never has chewed up or torn up anything in the house and very rarely has an accident. He loves to run and his favorite thing in the world is to chase balls either in the house or in a fenced in backyard.I’m going through a divorce as well as being a new empty nester and have had to move into an apartment. I also travel a lot for my job and I’m not home much so I’m always having sitters come and walk him.However, Duke is not good around other dogs and definitely needs to be an only dog child. I’ve tried to intermingle him and he has attacked a few dogs. I am not sure where his aggression for other dogs comes from. This is heartbreaking and I want someone to love him as much as I do!!

Rambo is a 1-year-and-7-month-old very sweet, loving, and affectionate boy who truly loves being around his people. He is a big cuddle bug and would happily spend time snuggling with you. ❤️He is wonderful with children and does great with my 3-year-old. He loves to play and has a gentle, loving personality.Unfortunately, our family’s schedule has changed significantly. With full-time work schedules and our older children now away at college, we’ve found it increasingly difficult to give Rambo the time, attention, and companionship he deserves. This is a very difficult decision because we love him and want what’s best for him.We are looking for a loving home where Rambo can receive plenty of attention, affection, playtime, and companionship. He has so much love to give and deserves a family who has the time to enjoy it with him.Our goal is to find the right forever home for Rambo, not simply the first home available. ❤️
