Enzo is an affectionate, gentle little poodle who truly shines once he feels safe and settled. He loves his people and enjoys being close, but he can startle easily—sudden noises can catch him off guard. Because of this, Enzo will do best with a patient adopter who understands shy or sensitive dogs and is willing to help him continue building confidence. Enzo gets along very well with other dogs and has lovely manners. He needs a home with another friendly dog to help show him the ropes and give him reassurance. He’s not high energy and is content with a calm, predictable routine. He is a good eater, sleeps nicely in his kennel, and kennels well when his foster runs errands for a couple of hours. Enzo is also a good little car rider. He walks well on leash and his recall is coming along—he’s learning and picks things up fairly quickly. Enzo is a great little guy who just needs the right home—one that’s patient, understanding, and willing to work with him as he continues to grow in confidence. Adoption Fee: $695

Story
Ms. Coco is a breeder release that is loving the home life and all the wonderful things it has to offer. Coco is 10 lbs of pure silly poodle. She is coming out of her shell and discovering all things good, like couches, tennis balls, and loving touches from humans. She did have all BUT 5 teeth pulled but that doesn't stop her from eating crunchy food or chewing on doggie toys. She has a cataract in one of her eyes but that isn't any issue for her, she sees all the leaves outside and chases them when they blow in the wind (like I said she's silly!) Coco is fine with cats and really would prefer another dog in the house to show her the routine, however, the more I spend time with her, I realize that if she were an only dog she would be ok as long as her human was near so she can check in on them. Coco with going potty is rather easy, if she hops off the couch, she should probably go out to potty. Really that is her cue, just getting off the couch, she really loves the couch that much,  I can only assume it's because it is way better than the kennel she spent all of her 8 yrs in before coming into rescue. Coco is very sweet; however, she is shy until she gets comfortable with a new person but that is typical of dogs in new places and new people. Coco loves chin scratches and head rubs and will almost climb in your lap if you start, so be prepared that if you start, you may never be able to stop because she loves it that much. Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, dental, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Meet Ari! Ari is a sweet and affectionate 2-year-old poodle mix with a gentle soul and a heart full of love. She recently made her way north from Arkansas, where she was found as a stray in a high-kill shelter—and we’re so grateful she was given a second chance at the life she deserves. Ari does wonderfully with both dogs and children, making her an excellent fit for families or multi-pet homes. Cats are currently unknown, as Ari hasn’t had the opportunity to meet one yet. She’s kennel trained, walks well on a leash, and continues to make great progress with house training, especially when given consistency, routine, and positive encouragement. Ari is eager to learn and truly wants to please her people. One of Ari’s favorite things is simply being close to her humans. She loves following you from room to room, curling up nearby, or quietly keeping you company throughout the day. Because of this, Ari thrives on companionship and connection and will do best in a home where she isn’t left alone for long stretches of time. With her calm sweetness balanced by playful, happy moments, Ari has a way of quickly becoming a cherished member of the family. She’s the kind of dog who will steal your heart without even trying—and once she does, she’ll love you right back with everything she has.
