She’s a gentle quiet young lady who loves to be loved and loves to give lots of snuggles. She will crawl under the blankets and sleep there all night. Ksenya is learning how to play with her other four-legged friends and is starting to enjoy toys. She enjoys all kinds of treats including chunky peanut butter. She can be skittish with new people, loud noises and quick movements, but is fine after she gets use to them. She loves car rides but will get sick, it is best to have her in a kennel when traveling. Ksenya is one of the sweetest little dogs once she warms up to you, which won't take her very long. Hi! I’m Sheila, I'm 8 years old and done being a mama! I’m enjoying my new life in Minnesota learning to play and looking forward to retiring on a couch, eating treats, playing with my toys, and snuggling up with my people. I’ve been spending my days dancing around my foster home trying out ALL the toys and ALL the beds, sniffing ALL the smells in the backyard, and taking naps both inside and out. Things I’ve learned I love are attention, treats, attention, toys (especially squeaky ones), attention, breakfast and dinner, attention, and sitting in laps. And did I mention attention? Things I’m figuring out is pottying outside (I know to go outside, but usually go inside once a day just because i want to!), which things/plants are ok to chew (hint- phone charger cords are NOT ok), and sometimes other dogs (I want ALL your attention!) I play tug and chase with the right companion but they need to be ok with me being the boss. Things I’m not a fan of are storms and loud noises, strangers, and the super cold weather. I don’t know or care what cats are- boring! I’m poodly smart with a big personality and would love to learn more games and might benefit from working with a trainer to help me learn to share if I end up living with other dogs. I can get a little jealous and bossy!  I will let you know if it sounds like anyone is coming home so living in a place with shared walls won't work for me as all those noises make me anxious and our neighbors won't like me letting them all know!  I will also answer if I hear other dogs calling me, ignoring them would be rude! I don't really like the leash but love to go outside in my fenced in yard to go potty, so I will definitely need a fence!  Zoomies in the yard or chasing my people are enough exercise for me. What I want most in life is to snuggle my BFF and eat treats. Can you be that BFF? I'm a very handsome Miniature Poodle, and I'm discovering the joys of comfort and love in my foster home. Each day brings me more confidence, and I'm eager to share my overflowing love with a special someone—maybe that's you! I am a bit timid, sudden movements, commotion, and loud noises still make me a bit uneasy. However, I'm getting better at facing these fears every day. When foster mom is still, I'm all about those loving pets and cuddles. But if she's on the move, I keep my distance—I even bolt if she walks toward me. I know commands like "outside" and "stop," and leash and potty training are still on my to-learn list. I'm 95% potty trained, especially with a consistent routine. A fenced yard is a must for my adventurous spirit. I'd love to have a canine companion to show me the ropes, help me 'dog' properly, and boost my confidence. We're working on some manners, and my foster pals are excellent teachers. Walking on a leash needs some practice, and a confident pal by my side would be perfect. Despite being easily startled and a bit hand-shy, I've found joy in playing with toys, furry friends, and even those mysterious creatures called cats. I'm all about giving kisses, nibbling fingers, and enjoying ear scratches. Zoomies are my specialty, especially in the fenced yard or on the stairs. I've got some manners to polish up, like waiting for my turn and distinguishing between toys and household items – hee hee! I'm happy in a lap for hours and like a comfy dog bed or couch too. I like to play and chase around with the other dogs big or small. I get along well with all dogs and cats are okay, but  I still think they're kind of strange. I'm curious about them though. I especially like to catch the leader with other dogs and you can’t catch me – hee hee! I’m Brioche, a two-year-old miniature poodle, and I weigh around 10 pounds. My journey started a bit shaky—literally. When I first came into rescue, I was so scared of people and this big, confusing world. But with the help of my amazing foster family, both the humans and my doggo friends, I’m slowly blossoming into a confident poodle princess. When I’m feeling playful, I love to throw toys around and chase them—it’s like I play fetch with myself! I also enjoy chewing on bones and going for walks, especially when I’m feeling frisky. But what I really love is curling up next to my foster humans and dog friends for some good cuddles. I’m learning more each day that the world can be a safe and fun place, even though I still get a little nervous sometimes. Loud noises and certain people can spook me, so I do best with a double leash when we’re out and about, just to make sure I stay safe. Speaking of being outside, I’m working on my leash training, and I’m getting better every day. I’m also practicing my potty training – I am very good about going outside and using a potty pad if I can’t make it. I used to love my crate so much that I never wanted to leave, but now that I’m feeling braver, I’m not so into the whole crate thing. I don’t mind eating in there, but if you close the door, I’ll definitely let you know I’m not a fan! I’m also super attached to my foster dog siblings, especially the Cavaliers here. If I can’t see them, I get a little panicked, so another dog is required in my forever home to help me feel safe and confident. Oh, and did I mention I have the most beautiful blue eyes? I’m a total sweetheart who loves to cuddle and be close to my people. Watching me come out of my shell little by little has been really special for my foster family. At 18 pounds (and growing!), I’m all about fun and play. I love everyone I meet—humans, dogs, and even cats! I’m still figuring out how to play with other dogs and my foster siblings, but I’m getting the hang of it. Toys are my favorite, and I can chew on bones all day long. I’m great with kids and love being part of the family. I’m still working on potty training, but I’m making progress. I’ve already got “sit” and “go potty” down, and I’m practicing  crate training, though I might bark a bit while I’m in there. When it comes to leash walking, I’m doing pretty well but still a work in progress! Cats? Oh, I just want to play with them! I don’t have a prey drive, just a lot of puppy energy that I’m eager to burn off. So only dog savvy cats allowed in my forever home. Overall, I’m a sweet, happy-go-lucky pup who’s learning fast. I’m still working on my manners, but I’m a joy to be around and will bring lots of love and laughter to my forever home.
