Meet Kailey, an 11-month-old Aussiedoodle who is just beginning to learn what it means to be someone’s beloved pet. She came to us as part of a large breeder-release group, so everything about home life is brand new to her. Soft beds, kind hands, toys, and quiet routines are all things she is experiencing for the very first time. Kaily is a truly gentle, sweet soul. She is crate trained and often chooses to nap in her crate even when the door is left open, as it gives her a sense of comfort and security. She is quiet, well-mannered, and incredibly easy to live with. Kaily loves other dogs, does well with cats, and has been fine around children. Her calm nature would even make her a nice fit for apartment living. Because of her past, Kaily will need a patient, understanding home that will give her the time and space she needs to fully come out of her shell. With consistency, kindness, and gentle encouragement, she will continue to blossom into the wonderful companion we know she is becoming. Once she trusts you, her sweetness truly shines.
