Story
Alfie is a handsome 3-year-old Great Dane/Poodle mix with a big heart and a playful personality! This gentle giant adores people and has been raised with four children. He is affectionate, patient, and happiest when included in family activities. Alfie is crate and leash trained, knows basic commands, and loves car rides! He enjoys outdoor adventures but is equally happy relaxing indoors with his favorite people. A securely fenced yard and an active family would be ideal. Alfie has lived with a large female dog but can be selective with other animals. He would do well as an only pet or with an experienced owner who can provide slow, proper introductions. Alfie is neutered, microchipped, current on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and in excellent health. Adoption Fee: $125 Apply online: https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption.
