Story
Meet Nina!   Every new experience is a first for Nina, and she's looking for someone who will enjoy helping her discover just how wonderful life can be.   Nina is a 4-year-old Aussiedoodle who recently joined our rescue as a breeder release. After spending her life having very little exposure to the world, she's starting over from the very beginning. New sights, sounds, routines, and experiences are all part of her journey, and she's taking it one step at a time.   She is an incredibly sweet girl who gets along beautifully with other animals and rides wonderfully in the car. While she's still learning how to be a beloved family dog, she has all the ingredients to become an amazing companion with a little patience, kindness, and consistency.   Nina is looking for a home that understands breeder release dogs and will give her the time she needs to build confidence at her own pace. Watching a shy dog blossom into a happy, trusting companion is one of life's greatest rewards, and Nina is ready to begin that journey.   ‍ Nina's spa day is coming up soon! Once she's feeling fresh and fabulous, we'll be sharing updated photos of this beautiful girl.   Adoption application: https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/13102/generic ##2772341##

Story
Meet Kailey, an 11-month-old Aussiedoodle who is just beginning to learn what it means to be someone’s beloved pet. She came to us as part of a large breeder-release group, so everything about home life is brand new to her. Soft beds, kind hands, toys, and quiet routines are all things she is experiencing for the very first time. Kaily is a truly gentle, sweet soul. She is crate trained and often chooses to nap in her crate even when the door is left open, as it gives her a sense of comfort and security. She is quiet, well-mannered, and incredibly easy to live with. Kaily loves other dogs, does well with cats, and has been fine around children. Her calm nature would even make her a nice fit for apartment living. Because of her past, Kaily will need a patient, understanding home that will give her the time and space she needs to fully come out of her shell. With consistency, kindness, and gentle encouragement, she will continue to blossom into the wonderful companion we know she is becoming. Once she trusts you, her sweetness truly shines. Kaily is ready for a fresh start and a forever family who will show her how beautiful life can be.   Adoption Application https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/13108/generic ##2596231##

Story
Perogi is an 11-month-old Aussiedoodle who is just starting to learn what it means to be part of a family. As a breeder release, the world is still a brand new place to him — full of unfamiliar sights, sounds, and experiences he’s taking in one gentle step at a time.   He is a soft, sweet soul who may be a little unsure at first, but with patience and kindness, his personality begins to peek through in the most heartwarming ways. Perogi will need a home that understands he’s learning everything from scratch and is willing to give him the time he needs to feel safe and confident.   Perogi does wonderfully with other animals and loves children. He would truly thrive in a home with a confident doggy sibling who can help guide him and show him that the world isn’t such a scary place. He is doing well with his leash manners and is crate trained, already making great progress as he adjusts to his new life.   Perogi is the kind of dog whose journey will be just as meaningful for his future family as it is for him. With a little patience and a lot of love, he will blossom into an incredibly devoted companion.   Apply to adopt: https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/13108/generic ##2719408##

Story
We got Koko as a puppy. She is 5 years old. She loves attention, cuddles, walks and runs. She has grown up on a small acreage, which isn’t a necessity, but she will need good exercise a couple times a day. She will sit, shake a paw, lay down. She loves people and will take any love and attention she can get. We need to rehome her because we are relocating and our new home and jobs do not have what she needs and we want to give her the best life she can have. She has grown up around 4 young kids and has been great with them. We also have a barn cat and had horses and cows that she is friends with, so she potentially could be good with cats if introduced as a friend and monitored in the beginning. She loves playing fetch and will retrieve and bring the ball back well and ready for another run. We are going to miss her so much, but we really feel like this is the best decision for Koko and are hoping to find a loving family to take her in.

Story
Adrian recently had a dental cleaning and a mass removal on his shoulder. He is healing beautifully and ready to find his forever home. Adrian is 14 years old, weighs 40 lbs and is looking for a special home that understands the needs of a senior dog. Adrian is a sweet, affectionate little shadow who wants to be wherever his person is. He’s a true velcro dog, if you move, he’s right behind you. His favorite place is curled up next to you on the couch, and if he can’t be there, he will happily settle at your feet. He also loves donut-style beds and cozy enclosed spaces, and often chooses to nap in the hallway. Despite his age, Adrian still enjoys a short game of fetch if the ball is tossed right in front of him. He walks beautifully on a leash and stays right by your side. As a senior, Adrian does have some special needs. He has limited vision, especially at night, and can become disoriented. The veterinarian believes some of his pacing and nighttime howling may be related to pain, cognitive decline, or a combination of both. Because he doesn’t always know where he is and can’t see well, he may bump into furniture, walls, or other dogs. His current medications include: • Gabapentin 200 mg every 12 hours for pain (can be given up to 3 times daily if needed) • Denamarin once daily for liver support • Trazodone 100 mg at bedtime, given with Gabapentin if he is pacing or howling at night Adrian prefers soft foods, though he will occasionally crunch on treats. He isn’t very interested in toys or bones. Grooming is important for Adrian’s comfort. His coat must be kept short, especially during warm weather, as he overheats easily. Hair around his eyes should be trimmed so he can see, and his paws should be kept neat to help him maintain traction while wearing his Tiger Toes. He tolerates his ear cleaning, and regular grooming helps keep him comfortable. Adrian is looking for a calm, loving home where he can spend his golden years being someone’s constant companion. He may require a little extra care, but he gives plenty of love in return. Adrian needs someone that works from home or is home the majority of the day. He does fantastic with other dogs, but if there is another dog in the home they need to be gentle and low energy. If you are interested in adopting Adrian, please submit an application at www.rescuerowinc.org *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 2-4 business days. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows (paid by cash or a check made out to Rescue Row): Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee  Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee  Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. Story
Please welcome Lillian back to Rescue Row. Lillian was adopted three years ago and, through no fault of her own, has returned to our rescue. After her mom was diagnosed with a terminal illness, her family made the incredibly difficult decision to surrender her so she can find a home that can provide the exercise and attention she needs. At 3½ years old, Lillian is looking for a very active family of her own. She is friendly, outgoing, and always ready for her next adventure. With her happy personality and active nature, she’ll make an amazing companion for a family that loves to stay on the go. She is house trained, kennel trained, great with babies and children, does well with other dogs and ignores the resident boss cat. According to Wisdom Panel, Lillian is: 49% Australian Shepherd/42% Poodle/7% Golden Retriever/2% Miniature American Shepherd. If you’re searching for an active, fun-loving companion, Lillian could be the perfect addition to your family. Story
From a scared boy in the shelter to a dog who is learning to trust the world around him, Bucky has made incredible progress during his time with Rescue Row. Bucky is a sweetheart who truly wants to please his people. When he first arrived, he followed his foster mom everywhere and struggled when she was out of sight. Now, he is learning to relax and settle independently. He has also made great improvements with crate time when his foster family leaves the house. His foster family believes Bucky may not have been properly socialized before joining Rescue Row. Meeting new people can still be scary for him, especially when visitors enter the home or try to pet him. Recently, our trainers spent time observing Bucky and provided his foster family with helpful tools to build his confidence when guests visit. We are happy to report that Bucky has been doing well with the foster family’s out-of-town guests! He also has training sessions and will continue working on his leash manners. At over 60 pounds, Bucky is a strong boy, so learning to walk politely on leash is an important skill. One of Bucky’s biggest accomplishments happened. Since joining his foster family, he had never climbed onto the couch to relax with them. He would ask for pets and affection but preferred to keep his distance. His foster family knew that with time and patience, he would eventually feel comfortable enough to snuggle. Their patience paid off when Bucky surprised his foster mom by hopping onto the couch and staying for a cuddle session. It was a special moment that showed just how far he has come. Bucky is looking for a family that will continue to be patient as he builds trust and confidence. He will do best with another playful dog who can help show him the ropes and encourage him to be brave. In return, his future family will gain a loyal, loving companion who is worth every bit of the journey. He needs someone home most of the time and no apartments.  If you’re looking for a sweet dog and are willing to give him the time he needs to blossom, Bucky may be the perfect match for you Bucky is a 10-month-old German Shepherd/Poodle/Golden Retriever mix and currently weighs about 60 lbs. If you are interested in adopting, please submit an application at www.rescuerowinc.org. *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 48 hours.
