Story
Milo is a 5 year old 56 pound standard poodle mix. He was a stray who was found with his friend Maizie. Milo has had entropian surgery on his eyes, has been neutered, up to date on vaccines, and is beginning heartworm treatment. Milo is a sweet, playful, goofy boy who loves praise and treats. He is great in his crate at night or when he can't be supervised. He gets along well with female dogs and with slow proper introductions could be fine with male dogs. He rides well in a car. April 26, 2024, 1:33 am

Story
Maizie was found as a stray with her buddy Milo. She is a 3 year old 37 pound poodle/doodle mix. Maizie has had entropian surgery on her eyes, has been spayed, and is up to date on vaccines. Due to her eye issues she had for years, she does have some blind spots in her vision and is sensitive to light. Also due to her vision, it can take a moment for her to feel comfortable with new people. Maizie loves the company of other dogs and often follows them.  She rides well in a car and has ignored a cat and chickens at her fosters. She is a smart girl and has learned to walk well on leash, sit, and enjoys figuring out puzzle toys like kongs. She will do anything for praise and treats. April 26, 2024, 1:33 am

Story
Lil Bit is a 2-4 year old 25ish pound female Aussiedoodle (our best guess). She was on the euthansia list for serving time in quarantine for biting a landscaper who was loading a lawnmower in his truck. The family decided they did not want Lil Bit back.  A foster happened to be at the shelter and coaxed her out of the kennel. It was easy to make friends with her and the foster quickly handled her mouth, teeth, and paws with no issues. Lil Bit takes a moment to warm up to new people and doesn't enjoy quick movements or chaos. For this reason, a home with older children is a must. She seems to warm up to females more easily but will make friends with males as well. Once you earn her trust she wants to be a lap dog! She loves to play with other dogs and respects cats. Lil Bit would thrive in a calm home where not a lot of visitors come and go. She would benefit from some confidence training as well. April 26, 2024, 1:33 am
