Meet Charlie – A Gentle Soul Looking for His Safe Place (currently in foster care) Charlie is a 2.5-year-old, 30 lb Mini Aussie Doodle with a tender heart and a quiet spirit. He’s searching for a patient, understanding adopter who will give him the time and consistency he needs to feel safe and truly at home. Charlie walks well on a leash, sticking right by your side and looking to his person for security and guidance. While he may be shy at first, there’s a deeply loyal companion waiting to emerge once he learns to trust you. Charlie is a very sensitive boy. Loud noises, sudden movements, and new environments can be overwhelming for him, so he will need a calm, structured home where routines are predictable. He’s especially nervous around new people and prefers to go at his own pace—he’ll come to you when he’s ready, and that trust is incredibly rewarding to earn. One thing that truly helps Charlie shine is other dogs, as he gains confidence by following their lead. Because of this, he must have another young, confident dog in the home to help him feel secure and continue building his confidence. Charlie’s ideal home: • Quiet, standalone house (no apartments or busy city environments) • Securely fenced 6-foot yard • Adults only; no children • A patient adopter willing to let him move at his pace (he tends to bond most closely with women) • Someone home most of the time • Another friendly, confident dog He is still working on potty training and will need gentle guidance and consistency. Charlie also isn’t the type to jump right into cuddles—he prefers to take things slow and will build a deep bond with his person over time. At night, he sleeps peacefully in his dog bed right next to yours. If you have a calm home, a kind heart, and the patience to let a shy dog blossom at his own pace, Charlie could become your most devoted companion. Charlie is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $600.

Story
Meet Shadow, a six-year-young male Australian Labradoodle, 40 lbs. (he does NOT shed but needs haircuts). He is affectionate, and is well-trained in basic commands, including sit, stay, come, off, out, and up. He will greet you, loves to give kisses, house trained and crate trained. He currently lives with another dog and cat.We are seeking an experienced, adult-only home and someone who is familiar with reactivity management. Shadow thrives with clear boundaries, and positive reinforcement. He shows reactive behaviors towards other dogs he doesn't know, and if he is disturbed while asleep. He also practices resource guarding with food and valued items. To manage these behaviors, Shadow eats and sleeps in his crate. He's had one on one training with a professional trainer, clicker training and uses a weighted vest.This is a difficult decision, and our priority is to ensure his success in his new home. Born around March 12, 2025, Myles weighs 17.6 pounds and is full of personality. He came to us as part of a 29-dog seizure where, although the dogs were cared for, they didn’t get the individual attention and socialization they needed. Despite that, Myles has proven to be incredibly friendly and people-loving. He thrives on attention and is always excited to be around his humans. Myles would do best in a home where someone is around most of the time, as he truly enjoys companionship and being part of daily life. Myles has also been seen by an ophthalmologist and has cataracts in one eye. He is currently on special eye drops, and we are hopeful for improvement with continued treatment. He also has a playful side—he absolutely loves toys and is always up for some fun. Whether it’s a game of toss or just carrying his favorite toy around, he knows how to enjoy life. He’s currently learning how to walk on a leash and will benefit from a patient adopter who can continue helping him build confidence and skills. With his sweet nature and eagerness to connect, Myles is sure to make a wonderful companion. Myles’ adoption fee is $400. No one came forward to claim him, so now he's ready to find a family that will never let him wonder where he belongs again. We believe Jeffrey is a Poodle mix, and he'll need regular grooming and brushing to keep his coat from becoming matted. With proper coat care, he'll stay looking handsome and feeling comfortable. Jeffrey is an active, playful boy who enjoys having fun and being around people. He can get a little carried away when he's excited and may give playful "love bites," so he would do best in a home with older, considerate children who understand how to interact appropriately with dogs. He does great with every dog he meets and seems to enjoy canine company. We are unsure how he would do with cats.
