You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Moe! Moe is a beautiful little white Maltipoo with a gentle spirit and a heart ready to bond with the right family. Born around March 11, 2025, this sweet boy weighs 10.8 pounds, making him the perfect size for lap snuggles and companionship. Moe came from a hoarding situation where he was one of 29 dogs, so the big world can feel a little overwhelming at first. Because of this, he may take a few minutes to warm up to new people. But once you approach him calmly and give him a few gentle pets, you can almost see the moment he relaxes—then he quickly becomes your loyal little friend. He gets along great with other dogs and truly enjoys their company. He will need to go to a home with another companion dog to help him feel comfortable and confident. Moe’s best friend here is Mitchell, and they would love to be adopted together. With a patient and loving family who will give him time to settle in, he will blossom into a devoted and affectionate companion. Moe is still learning some of the basics, including walking on a leash, but with consistency and kindness he will catch on quickly. If you’re looking for a sweet pup who just needs a little patience to shine, Moe may be the perfect match for Adoption Fee: $400 Apply to adopt Moe: www.adoggie4you.org Give this gentle boy the loving home he’s been waiting for! This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $250. We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations. Story
Hi, I’m Howie, a friendly, active 2 y/o schnauzer mix. The foster lady thinks I’m a schnoodle ( schnauzer/poodle mix), a fancy designer dog. No one knows for sure though since I haven’t had one of those fancy DNA tests done and we have no idea who my parents are. You see, I was an orphan as I was taken to the Laredo shelter and transported all the way to San Antonio. I guess the foster peeps could see that I am big city material! I am small ( 16 pounds give or take) and don’t shed. I love to ride in the car and hike with my peeps. I am very smart and eager to please. I get along well with both large and small dogs and love everyone! I am pretty good on a leash but am still learning manners. I am kennel and doggy door trained and listen well to my foster parents. I am currently wearing belly bands inside as I am still learning not to mark in the house. I just lost the family jewels today ( the old snip snip :) so foster mom is expecting the marking to subside. If not, I tolerate the bands and the nice furniture remains clean. You see, I am a perfect gentleman. I prefer being indoors but also like playing in the back yard with my crew. I really just want to be where the action is. I will make a great apartment or house dog. I would do best with a family or active person who likes to go for walks or spend time playing with me as I still have some puppy energy. So, if you are looking for a handsome hunk, I’m your guy. I’ve been looking for my furever family and I will reward the lucky peeps with lots of kisses and hugs! Local adoption fee is $400 in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $750 ( includes transport to your area) "Saving one dog will not change the world, but surely for that dog, the world will change." ~ Karen Davison

Story
This is Teddy! He’s a very sweet rescue poodle mix who has issues with males. Unfortunately he hasn’t been able to reconcile with my son after multiple attempts (w/lots of treats) and I’m looking for a new person for Teddy. He will do best in a home with a female wfh person, and possibly another small dog to keep him company. When he was adopted, he had two other small dogs in his room with him and he enjoyed playing with them. He can be anxious, but will totally open up to you after a few minutes and maybe some snacks. At the dog park he’s shy, but behaves well and will keep close to you. He’ll shyly play with other small dogs and is neutral with larger dogs. He walks great on a leash, loves to sniff all the things, and goes potty outside with regular morning, noon, and evening bathroom walks. Teddy is vocal when anxious and he’s most of the way crate trained, but still needs about 1 more month of consistent crate training. He’s a curious 3 year old who loves to cuddle!

Click the button to download the adoption application. The application is a form-fillable pdf. Fill out the form, save it to your hard drive, then email back to sian@gingerspetrescue.org Meet Charbonnet Charbonnet is a 3-year-old Poodle boy, weighing about 23lbs, with soft curls, kind eyes, and a calm, gentle presence that makes you feel at ease the moment you meet him. He was rescued from an illegal breeding facility in South Korea, where dogs are treated as production instead of family — but Charbonnet’s story is changing now. At three years old, Charbonnet is settling into a beautiful stage of life. He enjoys quiet companionship, cozy spaces, and being close to his people. He’s curious but thoughtful, affectionate without being overwhelming, and happiest when he knows he’s safe and loved. With patience and consistency, he’s ready to build a deep bond with a family who will show him what a real home feels like. ✨ Charbonnet is looking for a foster or forever home where he can continue to grow in confidence and finally experience the comfort and care every dog deserves. One loving home can truly change the rest of his life. Adoption Information Charbonnet’s adoption fee is $1,695, a non-refundable donation that helps support ongoing rescue efforts. It includes: • Neuter • Vaccinations • Microchip • Boarding and daily care • Health certificate • Transport from South Korea to Seattle ✈️ A GPS tracker or Apple AirTag is required for all adopted dogs — you may bring your own or purchase one from us. Please note: Breed, age, and weight are best estimates and cannot be guaranteed. Ginger’s Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Every adoption opens the door for another life to be saved. Thank you for choosing rescue and giving Charbonnet the future he’s been waiting for.      September 13, 2026, 9:59 pm

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Couscous is still figuring out if the world is safe, and she's taking that investigation very seriously. She was scared when she arrived, and while she's come a significant way since then, she's still not fully convinced about sudden movements, being picked up, or people she doesn't know. That said, once she's in your arms, she snuggles in and relaxes. She just needs someone who understands that getting there is the journey, not a race. She's more comfortable around other dogs than people right now, which her foster is using wisely (she watches the other dogs and takes social cues from them, and it's working!). She loves her crate and is learning to go outside for potty, and mostly getting it right. She hasn't even barked yet! Just a little whine here and there. Couscous needs an experienced dog owner, ideally without young children, and would benefit from calm and confident adult dogs in the home to help her keep learning. She may not be the dog for everyone, but that's okay. The most notable women in history rarely were, either! We know that the right person is going to see something very special in her, and love her the way she deserves to be loved. -----

A Quick but Important Note to All Adopters:
Please remember that none of our dogs arrive fully trained. Most come from tough or uncertain beginnings and may have never lived in a home or known basic routines. That means:

✧ They are not potty trained on arrival. Most dogs regress in potty training when moving to a new environment.

✧ They may lack basic manners (like leash walking or appropriate chewing).

✧ They’re learning, growing, and doing their best—but they will need patience, structure, and compassion to succeed.

The majority of these pups have lived in the confinement of a cage or kennel run for most - if not all - of their lives. Because of this, we strongly discourage the use of crates for anything other than vehicle transport. They deserve the chance to decompress and learn what true freedom and comfort feel like.

Our amazing foster homes work hard to start these dogs on the right path, but they are rescues, not finished products. These dogs need time, consistency, and a loving home willing to meet them where they are.

Also, breed designations are our best guesses based on appearance and behavior. We can't guarantee breed, size, adult weight, or coat type.

Story
Shirazi Salad has a few things going on. She's a shy lady by day, a spider inspector by night, and is currently on Season 3, Episode 14 of Sex and the City (firmly Team Miranda, which tells you everything you need to know about her). She takes her nightly security patrols seriously, has a personal policy of turning her head away from problems she'd rather not deal with (out of sight, out of mind), and dines in private because she's not interested in eating in front of people. She's gentle, funny, and full of quirky little habits that make her incredibly lovable once you get to know her. She needs a calm, patient home without young children, and someone who finds all of the above charming. Shirazi Salad is not for everyone, but she will be EVERYTHING to the right person. -----

Story
Meet Yogurt!   Name: Yogurt Age: 1 year old Gender: Female (spayed) Breed: Poodle Colour: Beige Weight: 10.8 kg (24 lbs) Height: 40 cm (16 in) at the shoulder   About Yogurt   Yogurt was rescued on August 2, 2026 from a Poodle hoarding situation in Gyeongbuk, Korea. Despite her difficult start in life, she is an incredibly sweet, gentle, and affectionate girl who loves being close to people.   ‍‍ With People Yogurt is very friendly and affectionate, even with people she has just met. She happily approaches both women and men for attention, rubs against them, and enjoys being petted. She is comfortable being touched and can also be picked up without any issue.   With Other Dogs Yogurt politely approaches unfamiliar dogs to say hello, but she isn’t particularly interested in playing with them and generally prefers following people around. She avoids conflict and will move away even if another dog tries to provoke her.   Because she came from a hoarding environment where she was always surrounded by other dogs, she currently seems to feel more secure when another dog is nearby. She may need some time and guidance to learn that being alone is safe too.   With Cats Her reaction to cats has not yet been observed, but a cat test can be arranged if needed.   Energy Level Low. Yogurt is surprisingly calm for a young Poodle! She spends much of her time relaxing, sleeping, or quietly staying beside people and enjoying affection.   Walks Yogurt did not pull on the leash during her first walk and tended to look to her handler for reassurance. Busy roads, bicycles, and people approaching suddenly sometimes caused her to stop, but she recovered quickly when encouraged and continued walking. With regular practice and positive experiences, we expect her confidence on walks to improve.   At Home   Yogurt does not show any food guarding toward people or other dogs. She has not yet developed a regular mealtime routine and tends to eat small amounts whenever she feels hungry.   She is generally very quiet, rarely barks, and does not show demand barking. No separation anxiety has been observed so far. When first placed alone in her kennel, however, she may bark quite a bit due to initial anxiety. She does not bark when another dog from the same hoarding situation is with her, and once she has had some time to settle, she is able to stay calmly on her own as well. Given her background, she may need some guidance and time to adjust to being alone in a new environment.   She is calm when traveling in a kennel. She currently goes potty outdoors, although she is still learning to consistently relieve herself during walks.   Yogurt would be a wonderful match for someone looking for a gentle, affectionate, lower-energy companion who simply loves being close to her people. With patience and reassurance as she adjusts to life outside of a hoarding environment, we believe this sweet girl will blossom into an incredibly loving family member.
