I came into rescue with a group of dogs, including my two nursing puppies, after our owner was cited by the city for having too many dogs. Life hadn’t been very easy for me — I arrived severely matted and covered in fleas and ticks — but through it all, I never stopped being sweet. Everyone who meets me talks about how calm and gentle I am. I have a mellow personality, enjoy lap time, and get along well with other dogs. I’m a quiet girl who doesn’t bark much, and I seem to already know the basics of potty training. More than anything, I just want a peaceful home where I can finally relax and be loved the way every dog deserves. I’m spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, 4DX negative, and current on ProHeart 12 and Bravecto. My adoption fee is $400. Due to my breed, I will need regular grooming. Meet Wemby — a goofy, lovable boy with a big personality and lots of love to give! He’s good with other dogs and enjoys having canine friends around, though when the excitement gets going and another dog starts barking, he may try to hump them. He’s still learning his manners and will need continued guidance and structure as he matures. Wemby is also good with cats and does well sharing his space with feline friends. He may have a little food aggression, so feeding separately or giving him his own space during meals is recommended. His neuter should help with some of his marking behaviors, but right now he may still try to mark occasionally. Born around March 11, 2025, this sweet boy weighs 10.8 pounds, making him the perfect size for lap snuggles and companionship. Moe came from a hoarding situation where he was one of 29 dogs, so the big world can feel a little overwhelming at first. Because of this, he may take a few minutes to warm up to new people. But once you approach him calmly and give him a few gentle pets, you can almost see the moment he relaxes—then he quickly becomes your loyal little friend. He gets along great with other dogs and truly enjoys their company. He will need to go to a home with another companion dog to help him feel comfortable and confident. Born around March 12, 2025, Myles weighs 17.6 pounds and is full of personality. He came to us as part of a 29-dog seizure where, although the dogs were cared for, they didn’t get the individual attention and socialization they needed. Despite that, Myles has proven to be incredibly friendly and people-loving. He thrives on attention and is always excited to be around his humans. Myles would do best in a home where someone is around most of the time, as he truly enjoys companionship and being part of daily life. Myles has also been seen by an ophthalmologist and has cataracts in one eye. He is currently on special eye drops, and we are hopeful for improvement with continued treatment. Animal Profile: Ramen is an estimated 6 year old, 15 lb neutered male miniature poodle who was a hot mess when he was pulled from the Carson shelter. He was at risk due to overcrowding at the shelter but assessed to be friendly with people and dogs. We will share more about him as we get to know him in foster care. Foster Update: Ramen is a cool little cup of noodles! He has been a quick study in foster care and is crate trained, potty trained, and walks well on leash. He loves to work and train and is very smart. He was recently introduced to odor detection work and his trainer said he was a natural. He catches on to new commands quickly and would love someone to work with. Ramen would do best in an adult only household. He sometimes takes time to warm up to strangers and he is more trusting of female companions. He has shown a tendency to resource guard when it comes to removing high value toys from his possession, but his trainer is working on tackling that behavior. Ramen is dog friendly, and would be best matched with a similar sized female dog his age. Ramen has had a lot of interest from families wanting a lap dog; he prefers to show affection through play and is not a couch potato. Ramen needs an experienced owner who comfortable addressing his guarding behaviors, willing to continue exercising his body and his mind, and able to commit to regular grooming. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575, which includes neuter, current rabies/DAPPV/bordetella vaccinations, microchip, health certificate, and heartworm test. Ramen's adoption also includes take home training and support from Nirvana K9 Training. I was rescued from an illegal breeding facility in South Korea, and now I’m ready for a new chapter filled with kindness and care. I’ve traveled a long way to get here, and all I need now is a family who will give me the love I’ve been waiting for. So far, I have not shown any issues with other dogs, children, or people — but every dog may respond differently when settling into a new home.
