Story
Meet Clark! Clark is an adorable and sweet Blue Heeler that is approximately 3-5 years old. He has typical dense heeler fur that he loves to have you scratch. He loves attention and can be ok with other dogs but would prefer to be an only dog. He has been exposed to cats and will leave them alone. He is not recommended for homes with small children because he can be protective of his food, treats, and people. He is overall just a sweet, cuddly, friendly, and fun little guy once he warms up to his person / people. It will take time for him to adjust in his new home so his new people need to be patient and loving. If you are looking for an only dog to be your bestest snuggle buddy, please submit an application at forrescue.net He is fostered in the Huntsville, AL area and any potential adopter must meet him here.

Story
Meet Darcy, the sweetest, most petite little rescue girl with a heart full of hope. 💕 Darcy came to us very underweight, but you’d never know it from her spirit—this girl is precious in every way. And now? She’s making up for lost time with her absolute favorite thing in the world: FOOD. Because she was hungry for so long, Darcy gets very excited around meals and hasn’t quite learned to take treats gently or share just yet—but none of that is her fault. With time, consistency, and the security of always having enough, she’ll learn she never has to worry about food again. As Darcy gains weight, she’s also gaining confidence. Every day at the lifesaving center, she blossoms a little more, showing us just how loving and gentle she wants to be. She’s a cuddle-ready, heart-melting sweetheart who just needs someone to believe in her. Darcy deserves nothing less than the best—soft beds, patient guidance, and a forever home filled with love and care. If you’re looking for a tiny treasure who will adore you with her whole heart, Darcy is waiting for you. 🐾💗

Carhartt is doing an amazing job with potty training and already knows how to use the doggy door like a pro! He is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and more than ready for his forever home. This handsome pup will thrive in an active home where he can grow, learn, and continue adventuring with his best friend (you!).
