Story
Hello, my name is Baracus (after B. A. Baracus on the TV show The A-Team) and I am a purebred Red Heeler Australian Cattle Dog! I was surrendered to NGAA because my owner found herself homeless and was unable to properly care for me. They said I had worms in my heart, but the nice people at NGAA took me to a terrific vet and now I am all better and living in a foster home. I have a fenced-in yard with room to run, which is one of my favorite things! I would do best as the only pet. All I really want is a person of my own to love and play ball with... I really love to play ball!Note from NGAA:Baracus is true to the breed - a very active, athletic dog who loves water play and is highly intelligent. He should be in a home that understands the breed. He is independent but wants to interact with his person and learns commands quickly. Once he opens his heart to you, he will be your constant companion.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. If you are interested in any of the FFOSK9 pups,  the first step is to fill out an application at  http://www.ffosk9resq.org/info/adoption . Hoots is the friendliest, most affectionate guy out of the whole pack. He will sit in your lap and smother you with kisses. He seems to get along with everyone he meets. He will need to learn to live without his mother and siblings but he is such a happy guy, we don't see that being an issue. Hoots weighs 29 pounds.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.  We are a home based, not for profit organization in Northeast Alabama that helps place forgotten and unwanted pets in forever homes.  We are an all volunteer, 501(c)3  organization.  We rescue pets from high kill shelters, prior to being euthanized, as well as strays and unwanted pets. We do not adopt to "outside only" homes nor do we adopt to anyone who wishes to crop, dock, or do any other alterations except the spaying and neutering of their pets.  All pets are completely vetted, up to date on all vaccines, and given rabies certificates.   December 2, 2023, 12:13 pm
