Story
It’s Buckley the great hunter here….sshhh, don’t tell anyone, but I am just fascinated watching lizards run!I recently arrived at the Sedona Humane Society, and I am friendly, funny, potty trained smart guy. I am a 2-year-old male cattle dog, terrier mix with a kind and joyful spirit. The volunteers find me easy to harness and leash and I walk nicely on my persons left side. I stop as soon as I am asked to `sit and stay` and I am easy to train as I am treat oriented. I`d love to learn to roll over some day.I am playful and like to play fetch with a 90% ball return rate. I will run to you when you call my name, sit patiently for treats and really enjoy full length body rubs after a fun play session. I am always excited to show off my happy tail and smile. I would thrive in a home with people who will walk with me. I would enjoy living with older kids with whom I can play. I form strong bonds with the people around me and will be a devoted faithful doggie companion. We could enjoy nice long walks in the red dirt for sure. With my friendly nature and loyal spirit, I`ll be your best buddy for years to come, especially if you have lizards where you live!I am neutered, microchipped, potty trained and up-to date on my vaccines.I would love to meet your family when you come to visit me. Please contact the caring folks at the Humane Society of Sedona at: 928.282.4679 any day of the week 10am-4pm; excluding major holidays and come say “fetch anyone.”

Story
Ollie is adorable, quirky, and a little shy at firstOllie – Adoption Bio Ollie is a gentle soul with a heart of gold, waiting for the right person to help her shine. At first, Ollie may be a little shy, preferring to take things slow while she gets to know you. Once trust is built, you will discover a loyal companion who will stand by your side through life’s quiet moments and joyful days. Ollie is searching for a patient, understanding adopter who can offer her the stability and kindness she deserves. Ollie thrives in a calm, steady environment, where routines bring her comfort, and gentle handling shows her the world is a safe place. She shines brightest when given structure, patience, and enrichment. She’s the kind of dog who will make your home feel fuller, your days brighter, and your heart lighter. Whether you’re a senior looking for a loyal sidekick, a quiet household wanting a devoted friend, or a multi-dog family ready to welcome another gentle soul, Ollie is ready to bring joy, laughter, and unconditional love to your life. Back Story Likely born in the desert with minimal socialization until captured by Animal Control, she once lived with a loving family, displaying food-driven behavior and allowing her human dad to pet her. Due to a family tragedy, Ollie (Olive) found herself in need of treatment or sanctuary. With the right family and commitment, we believe Ollie can thrive with humans once again. Behavior Profile When Ollie isn’t enjoying peaceful cuddles, she’s ready for playing, a romp in the yard, or relaxing as a professional couch companion. She gets along well with other dogs and can live harmoniously with cats, making her a great fit for the right multi-pet home. She already has wonderful house manners, is crate trained, and walks beautifully on a leash.
